Take back what the KINGdom stole - Amaria - Aug 04 2016

Amaria

You fell away,
What more can I say?
The feelings evolved,
I won't let it out,
I can't replace...
Your screaming face,
Feeling the sickness inside

For only a short moment, it seemed, the mutated feline moved through the caves. Following the scent that belonged to a cub she had taken as her own the moment a particular bird had thought it to be a smart idea to breathe life into a gemstone that should have been left alone to sleep. She should have kept his stone. Should have demanded that bird give it to her as it was only in her right. Carcino had been hers. He had been her mate. Maybe not for the entirety of their existence, but it had been enough. She should have protected his gemstone from the idiocy that some gembounds may have.

It was too late to change any of that and she had done her best to help raise the new child as best she could. There was no regret in watching this new child blossom into his own. Even if Azazel quite frankly ruined it. Sapphire eyes stared up at the tower she had found herself standing in front of. Memories were quickly recalled and a half-hearted smile curled over her features as shew briefly contemplated her first time up the tower. Alas, those thoughts were quickly shaken away and she focused on why she was here now.

Eythan was here.

Without hesitation the mutated leopard entered the tower and was quick to trail up the stairs. Orion was not a place Amaria had ever wished to return to. It was a place full of memories that now only brought her turmoil and depression, but in the need to be here now quite frankly outweighed her own emotions. Tentatively she stepped around a particular hole in the stairs, musing over how she had nearly fallen there but thanks to her brother they had both made it okay. Another flash of a smile before she carried on.

Finally she came into the room at the top and her eyes searched the darkened area. It wasn't long before she spotted the hybrid and a soft smile curled across her features. "There you are..." She hummed softly, her voice full of affection of a mother towards her son. She moved over to him without hesitance, slowly moving to lower herself to sit just beside him. She was quiet for a long moment, looking him over to make sure the fully grown hybrid was okay. "How long have you been here?" It was a gentle question, one that was to only start a conversation. She knew there was something bothering the hybrid, but she didn't want to push him into talking about things he may not want to mention in this particular moment.
