I Need A Hero - Hasira - May 23 2015 VAZI HASIRA "shattered innocence" Polaris, the core, this was the place that he'd been born. The place he felt the greatest connection to. It was like a rush of energy just went into him every time he was at the core but since he'd last come it had changed. It was lighter and now wracked with golems. The creatures he'd hardly had run-ins with before but now was forced to learn about. He tried to leave whenever they were about and so far he'd had no trouble with them, which was good. Still, he needed to learn more about them if he wanted to better protect Wynry. If he didn't he'd be an awful protector. So, that was what brought him to Polaris this day. To observe the golems where they roamed. From the protection of large he sat, watching the rocky giants. When not provoked they didn't do much but still he didn't stop his vigil. He was here to learn and by gosh he would learn! The fawn's blue-gray eyes flicked back and forth between each rocky thing. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a flicker of movement... something that wasn't a golem. It was a four-legged thing like him! Interesting... but... What was she doing? He didn't know but he hoped that she knew about the golems. What if she didn't? What if she was just a sitting duck? The young stag's head raised as he lifted himself partway into view. His eyes locked onto the newcomer with an expression of warning. Don't go that way... He silently warned but he had no arcane magic to silently transport the thoughts. . words: 272 tagged: Adira, Open ooc: --- muse: 5/10 "Talking looks like this." Thinking looks like this... It was a little distant, but given the effort the golem would surely make it there to see what stone existed within this presence. It wanted more, needed more stones. Its body was a collection of dull boulders, some large and some bits as small as pebbles that moved almost independently as the being itself turned. It already had a small collection of shattered chrysalis pieces littered across its body. Just as it was readying itself to begin its journey, a closer presence steered the attention of the golem. It had gotten close, real close, and the golem churned one of its arms upward as quickly as it could muster, reaching out to grab whatever vessel had come to deliver it its next stone. But it had started to flee. The golem put its body into motion, moving its heavy legs in loud strides. It was a sluggish thing, but its prey had stopped for some reason which gave the golem an advantage. The vessel meant nothing to the collection of boulders and stones. The gemstone that stuck out of it, however, was the real prey. It closed in on the area it sensed the stone to be and reached out one more time, lifting its arm with great effort toward the stone it hungered so much for. RE: I Need A Hero - Hasira - May 23 2015 VAZI HASIRA "shattered innocence" The other creature didn't heed his warning and when she realized the danger it was too late. The golem turned for her lumbered right after her. The equine tried to escape but stumbled over her own hooves, landing on the ground, defenseless as he rock creature came for her. Even without that look Vazi would have come to her rescue. If it had been a male, a bird, a cat, even a little frog the deer would have attempted a rescue. That was just who the little stag was. His moral compass was strong. When the female uttered those words, "Help me", he sprang into action. The young fawn leaped from behind the large rock and crossed the distance rather quickly. He wanted to waste no time in rescuing the poor girl lest the golem get ahold to her and... well, he didn't really know what the golem would do but it would be bad! He was positive of that! When he reached the golem and the girl he frowned, an angry expression rushing onto his face and straight to his gem which turned it a red color. Right now he felt no fear, just a righteous anger that this golem would dare harm such an innocent creature. "Leave. Her. ALONE!" At the word "alone" her turned swiftly on his hooves and lashed out with his hind legs aiming to kick the golem's reaching arm. Perhaps he could stun it or take its attention away from the female. To her he said, "Run!" Before his attention was back on the golem in case it tried to reach her him next. . words: 270 tagged: Adira ooc: --- muse: 5/10 "Talking looks like this." It's long arm extended toward her horn, the source of her being, and she knew she couldn't sit around anymore. Adira jumped to her feet, and ran in the opposite direction of the strange earth-creature. She was too terrified and bewildered to pay attention to anything that was happening around her, but after a moment's pause she heard the boy she cried out to scream. She had already followed his command; she didn't need him to tell her she needed to get out of the giant's way. When she got some distance away from the battle, she turned to the direction of the chaos. She watched as the deer boy's attack on the creature failed, and her heart surged despite his failure. How brave! Even if he had to flee from the terrible monster, he at least had tried for her. That was more than she could say for most creatures she had yet met on the cave. The girl smiled widely, and it finally dawned her on completely that he had hooves! He was one of them! She would befriend him, and he could be her protector and he would aide her on her every fancy! But the creature wasn't gone yet... It's arm was still extended, and the young male was still in its way! Adira squealed again, but she wasn't about to get back in that battle. She liked the deer boy, and had some concern for him, but she barely knew him and wasn't ready to risk her life for him. Heck, she wasn't ready to risk her life for anyone. "Get it! Get it!" she yelled at the boy from her distance. RE: I Need A Hero - Game Master CJ - May 24 2015 Something grazed the outermost rock that made up its arm and the golem paused. It couldn't hear the gembounds in the sense that they heard each other, but rather it felt the vibrations from their voices; and one of them had gotten very loud. Where one stone was growing distant now, another had taken its place. If the golem had a face or the idea of expression, it would be scowling. It didn't care which stone it received, just as long as it got something for its efforts. Vibrations from the distance suggested the original target was still around, but for now the golem would focus on the nearest presence. The lumbering stone being again heaved one of its arms into the air, thrusting it toward the new vessel that held a different stone. RE: I Need A Hero - Hasira - May 25 2015 VAZI HASIRA "shattered innocence" The young stag's attacked barely grazed the golem. Although with the female running and with the sudden attack it seemed to stall for a moment. But it was only for a moment and the attack was back on! Vazi bounced backwards a couple of paces, keeping light on his hooves as he waited to see what the golem would try next. It thrust one large arm in his direction and the fleetfooted stag nimbly dodged to the side, evading the hit with a few inches to spare. In the background he heard the other gembound egging him on. Telling him to "get it" and if he could Vazi would happily oblige. The stag narrowed his eyes in concentration as he ran around behind the golem and turned with another kick in its direction, hopefully he would be successful this time. Again the kick wasn't as good as he hoped it would be and he was disappointed. Perhaps this would be a good time to make a hasty escape with the female to keep himself from getting hurt from the golem. If there was one thing he needed it was to be unharmed because if he was hurt he would be unable to protect his friends. . words: 205 tagged: Adira ooc: --- muse: 5/10 "Talking looks like this."
