times are dark, thoughts are darker, and that's the way that it goes - Ozias - Dec 23 2016

Ozias couldn't bare being alone anymore. The silence was painful, toying with his head and scaring him. He didn't even know what his own voice sounded like since it has been so long. Unable to retreat into his chrysalis like many others, he remained walking the caves, alone.

He'd come to Canis so many times now and before, watching the group from the shadows and even managing to sneak his face into the crowd during meetings. He'd always wanted to join, but the group was just a memory now. He was there when the white prince became king, when the bone king perished and the bonebound became... quiet. The other son was rarely seen, but that was explainable.

Canis was a place he considered home even though he never actually lived here. Since Nova, he'd visited more often than he ventured to many other rooms combined. With the bonebound gone, the room was eerie. Piles of bones were ominous now and the dusty air was still. There hadn't been much, if any, life through here recently.

There was a faint sound, one that might not have been heard had the room not been so quiet, but ni matter how hard he tried, he couldn't sense another gembound in the room. He didn't believe it though - he definitely heard something.

"Speech!"
