Many cycles had again since passed since the last emergence they had. Again, they chose to hollow into the sanguine, yet grassy tunnel. They dug in the dirt and brought things from other rooms and tunnels to make their nest and there they slept, hibernating almost. They hadn't returned to the chrysalis like others had, but they woke like them, groggy and with little sense of place or time. It took moments for the hybrid to recollect their few memories before stretching their legs and rising without fail. They abandoned their nest in the hollow and emerged into the light, squinting and yawning. They felt rather calm for now, though with little stimulation that would certainly change. The tunnel was quirt though, but would someone sense their presence? Being in a tunnel connecting to the main room, they wondered how soon someone would travel this way. With a runble of their stomach, they hoped it'd be soon.
