dizzy dreamer - Ghost - Jan 02 2017

The man knew nothing but darkness for many cycles, residing into a chrysalis once more. Thia time, he emerged the same with no changes like last time. He was the same, two legged wolf that he had been for some time. Gasping at the air, wretching fluids from his lungs while bent over on his hands and knees, he fell from his chrysalis suddenly in the middle of Polaris and landed with a thud on the ground. His eyes opened once his coughing stopped and he stood on shaky legs, looking around the room. What had he been doing here before?

He couldn't remember. In fact, he really couldn't remember much. Bringing a hand up to his head, he rubbed his temple and closed his eyes, trying to remember. There was nothing. He remembered who he was, who he became, Iris, and briefly meeting another lycanthrope. Everything else was simply gone. He barely remembered things from before his last hatch, and now everything was a blur. Finer details were lost, though.

Noticing the room was rather empty, he wondered where everyone was. There was always life in the caves, but now it seemed dull; lifeless. He'd wander then, over to the river and down to his reflection. Taking a moment to look at himself in the rippling water, he finally sunk his hands into his reflection and splashed the cool water on his face multiple times. His back was turned to the room, but he was not unaware of his surroundings.

RE: dizzy dreamer - Baratheon - Jan 02 2017

Further down the river, far away from the lycanthrope there lay a dragon. His body was sprawled out cat-like as he stared lazily into the waters. Beneath the surface he could see the many species of cave fish swimming around the blue waters, minding their own business. He wondered when the last it was that he went swimming. Certainly not since he had reawoken and he couldn't remember if he had prior to then. He wasn't exactly what one would call a "water dragon" but he knew instinctively that his fur was made so it wouldn't bog him down beneath the waves. It was then that he decided he would take a refreshing dip beneath the surface.

He didn't exactly get up and splash into the waves, he moreso allowed himself to slide in nose-first. Beneath the water everything was blurry as he wasn't adapted to life under the water but he could see well enough that he didn't run into anything. His short limbs pulled up close to his body while he used his powerful tail to propel him through the liquid. In front of him he could see a sanguine fish, a beautiful thing, as it flitted about on its own business. He thought briefly of hunting it but decided against it after something else caught his eye. A rather massive gray water-creature, one that would provide far more of a mouthful.

He set his pink sights on it and swiftly went after it. The gray creature tried to evade him but it was to no avail. After a swift turn that bought it a few more moments of life Baratheon latched his fangs into it. The white dragon began to swim towards the surface with the fish thrashing about vainly in his maw.

Above the waves one would be able to see the waters began to be disrupted with foam and blood until finally a large white beast would burst violently from the waves with the caught fish. Blood cascaded from the fish's body and soaked the dragon's maw and throat. Then, with one shake of the beast's head, the dragon would swallow the fish whole.

After the fish had been dealt with the dragon's eyes turned on the white creature on the shore with eyes that were turning red with some internal struggle. His lips lifted up into a snarl as he came closer... but then he stopped and rapidly began to blink his eyes as he he attempted to clear away the redness in his eyes. His head turned violently as he let out a diminutive roar, then, he turned back towards the white creature on the shore but now his eyes were once again fully pink.

The white dragon breathed heavily as he stared, brows furrowing as he seemed to be thinking deeply. This creature... it seemed... familiar. For a while he remained silent and simply stared while he ran his tongue around his lips, cleaning blood from himself before finally he spoke. "Ghost?" That... That was him... right? It had been cycles and he couldn't be sure if he trusted his memory.
