The Lizards Hatching - Jalusa - Jan 11 2017

The small creature fond herself sitting in an oddly tight and compact area. She whipped her tail against the walls hoping for it to break and spill her out, It was dark and she doesn't like the darkness. After much effort a crack formed in the walls of the chrysalis she was within. Proud of herself she used her front claws to dig her way through the rest of the chrysalis' wall.

After much exhausting effort she got through the wall and decided to take a nap, not wanting to be found however she walked over toward the crags which took her an ephemeral amount of time. Finding a little spot she curled into a ball, in sight but in a spot where you would have to try to look for her to see her. Comfortable with her decision and her instincts agreeing she curled into a ball and closed her eyes.

RE: The Lizards Hatching - Eleanor - Jan 11 2017

Eleanor was exploring Cetus again that day, as she always did. Waddling and swimming through the foggy marsh was relaxing and fun, and she always seemed to discover new things. And she was quickly mastering her fears and becoming more and more outgoing. Today she found herself near the crags, which was a place she wasn’t sure she’d ever been to before, and as she stared up at the jutting rocks, slowly moving closer, she happened to catch a flash of blue against the muddy grey. Looking down in curiosity, she saw the shape of a small blue lizard curled up and apparently sleeping in between two rocks.

Not one to speak unless spoken to, she lay down on the cold, muddy ground, used to cold by now so that it didn’t affect her, and was silent. She didn’t want to wake the little one up, and instead decided to watch over it in case anything bad happened. Eleanor was always prepared for the worst. It was just how her mind worked. She always assumed disaster would strike if she wasn’t ready, yet she seemed to have a tight reign on her nerves. Eventually, she too closed her eyes and fell asleep, snoring lightly.

Awakened from her nap by the very slight sound of breathing the lizard awoke and suddenly saw an odd looking creature outside of her little hiding hole. She cocked her head shyly and then hopped down quickly circling the creature multiple times, her natural curiosity kicking in.

"Who are you?" She began rapidly, "WHAT are you? This means there are other creatures here.... Do they all look SO different?'
