Pursuing the quest: Grave Robbing - Yuma - Jan 27 2017
Tags: @Albeon @Gabriel RE: Pursuing the quest: Grave Robbing - Gabriel - Jan 27 2017 Gabriel was just entering Canis, its steps calm and slow. The pup was not intent on wasting a single ounce of energy on this trip, as it knew that this was not worth a sprint. Its tail was raised and almost seemed to wag as any other puppy's would- although it was mainly out of contentedness. So long as Gabriel was awake and ready to learn, it was content. Not that it was aware of ever feeling anything else... when asleep or tired out or hungry, it would simply stop and eat. Such were the requirements of possessing a body like this, and no-one in the caves could really escape that curse as of yet. Perhaps one day no living being would need to eat, sleep, or worry about dying ever again. But that remained to be seen. No sooner had Gabriel entered Canis than its attention was suddenly drawn by a cackle- a loud, shrieking sound caused the pup to look around. Their attention was soon drawn to a familiar face- the small primate who'd quickly fled the scene upon receiving their task. They did not seem to be focusing on the task at hand... quite the contrary. Their cackles echoed around the cave and reverberated through the bones littering the ground. Some bones even skittered down to meet the dog. Gabriel narrowed its eyes, beginning to approach; covered in an odd, pitch black slime they stood, and just as Gabriel processed what it was seeing at that moment- all that slime suddenly burst into flame. It blinked several times, pausing... and stored away that information for later use. Gabriel itself had passed several of these mysterious slime trails, but never had it thought to give them a spark. That knowledge could come in useful one day... Curiosity flickering over its features, the pup approached. "You are one tasked with finding lost stones," Gabriel stated, not as a question but a reminder. "I am here to assist you." "Speech looks like this." "Thoughts looks like this." tags: @Yuma @Albeon notes: here RE: Pursuing the quest: Grave Robbing - Albeon - Feb 01 2017 Heh... Oh well just keep on going, almost there anyway. Continuing to move forward before pausing for a second when from what he can make out of it appears that his path bifurcates at this point, recognizing this path somewhat he realizes he's almost there, taking a deep breath Albeon continues onward to the path that leads to Canis with his scarf billowing alongside him, the brightest of gold and blue wing insignia following behind him. The moment he entered Canis a cackle bellowed throughout the entirety around the Room of what was most definitely Canis he just entered in. When the sound reached his ears, it was immensely grating, especially from how it blasted straight into the eardrums, resisting the urge to bring his wings out and put them in his ears to drown out the raw noise that was honestly very disturbing sounding, but instead he decides to continue on to find his rendezvous point to finally find that the source of that keening noise was coming from their... Partner? And the sight before him. Oh gods... What... The fuck is all this? Looks like disturbing ritual... He's frozen in place at all of this, staring at it all with one widened eyes and one narrowed eye, both of his brows are raised at all by this. He just can't find the words to say about what is going on, he's too befuddled really it honestly seems like something from a horror movie. Regaining his train of thoughts again Albeon can't help but crinkle his nose in disgust at it all especially with that acidic smell, this is supposed to be a 'craft project'? Looks like something spawned from hell instead. To his surprise, he could make out another familiar face, the canine he saw briefly in Polaris. Wait… The canine is pink; it was them Albeon saw earlier? They wish to join in on this? Although their encounter was short lived due to Albeon's unwillingness to get from them due to his self-hate, this time actually feels relief this time over how the canine wishes to help. And he inwardly wants to thank the canine on reminding his other partner on why they were all here right now, saved him the trouble in regards to this disturbing atmosphere and also the factor that means he won't have to suffer alone of being stuck with this here oddball. Walking over he gives them both a small sound of acknowledgement and acceptance of sorts to the canine. He'll accept their help this time. RE: Pursuing the quest: Grave Robbing - Yuma - Feb 02 2017
Tags: @Albeon @Gabriel RE: Pursuing the quest: Grave Robbing - Gabriel - Feb 04 2017 The pup watched as the strange, wide-eyed being scuttled around, seemingly examining it. the voice that reached it caused Gabriel to smirk in slight amusement. "I think you'll find that's because I'm a dog," Gabriel told them matter-of-factly, voice remaining bright and optimistic. The pup was glad that the strange creature was at least beginning the scavenger hunt now. It even offered to lead them to a good place to start. Gabriel bowed its head in acknowledgement. "I will follow." No sooner had Gabriel said this than another figure inched out of the darkness beside it. Gabriel turned its head towards the familiar bird, and bowed its head in greeting. The aye-aye seemed confused by that, for reasons that Gabriel couldn't pinpoint. In such a short time, a being wouldn't be able to change their form, right? Such a thing was simply illogical. "You two may call me Gabriel. I chose my own duty, so I don't blame you for not remembering me," Gabriel explained calmly, brightly. "So now, I offer you an extra paw. Shall we move on?" Gabriel glanced from being to being, bowing its head in greeting to the familiar raven in the dark. "Yes! this task will be most enlightening." "Speech looks like this." "Thoughts looks like this." tags: @Yuma @Albeon notes: here RE: Pursuing the quest: Grave Robbing - Albeon - Mar 06 2017 Oh for the love of… The one who the aye-aye is talking to obviously isn’t him, but since those words are actually supposed to be for him, he’ll do just what they said and tag along to wherever these supposed old stones are. Although he sees the aye-aye is treading straight towards him, which will make things a hell lot easier for the raven to solve this little thing on how the aye-aye is speaking to the wrong Gembound. “Nope, yours truly is still the usual hunk of puffed-up black feathers here, nothing new really,” the raven tried to clear things up with a very casual & sarcastic tone. At least this whole thing of proving to the aye-aye that he’s well… His actual assigned partner of sorts, isn’t going to be a huge hassle to solve from the looks of it. Well, this whole quest will be easier with a new addition, especially since, as he last remembers the canine here seemed to be better at navigating in the darkness than him. ”Huh, that is neat,” answering with a friendly smile of sorts, although he kept his voice down, choosing not to make something like a national declaration of sorts of what they're all about to do. Preferring not to attract attention, as even though he doubts one like that other canine who attacked him here in Canis is here right now, just being here is giving him some bad vibes and making the raven a bit antsy. Especially since they’re kind of going to be disrespecting the dead in a way. “Names, Albeon,” preferring to cut to the chase on the naming basis, although he does in fact remember Gabriel’s physical appearance, just thinks it’ll be awkward to bring that back up with someone else here. And he is trying a bit more on not caring too much about the past now. “Well- “he pointed the feathers of one wing towards the direction he believes the aye-aye was moving towards to get things back on the task at hand- “I believe you were going to lead us to where the old stones are correct?” |
