Sleep tight, Snow White (Conception) - Kin-Kin - Oct 24 2017

[Continuation of Lover's Lonely Kiss, in Cetus]

After quite some time of traveling, Kin-Kin emerged into Polaris, the room of Lights. her fur had dried out, but she still had to groom the mats out of her fur, but for now she carried a heavy burden to its journey's end. At the entrance of Tunnel H, Kin-Kin paused for a moment to gaze out at the lights that the peacock she'd carried had never seen. Kin-Kin thought that Polaris was the most beautiful place in the caves; as beautiful as she was, almost.

The golden she-wolf padded down the slope towards the crystal river, looking for a secluded alcove where she could lay the body to finally rest. Eventually, she found a rocky overhang that looked out across almost the entirety of Polaris, just secluded enough that she could be certain no-one would ever disturb it.

Kin-Kin dropped her heavy load, nudging it into place before settling back on her haunches, pressing her chin to her chest as she gathered her magic close. It took time, but soon clear quarts crystal wove itself up out of the ground, forming a clear glass casing around the body of the white peacock. A glass coffin, for all the world to see. Kin-Kin finally relaxed, pushing herself up onto aching paws.

Without looking back, she padded away.

But little did she realize her one fatal mistake; on her long journey to Polaris, the magic that wreathed her soul and lingered around her physical form had stole its way into the peacock's gem. Kin-Kin's magic had burned so bright that soon, this death would become a new life.
