Work to Leave Some Part of You on This Earth - Vianne - Nov 09 2017
Vianne now found herself in Polaris, a place she hadn't been to in a while. She decided to come here after fleeing from the fire that was in Eridanus, and deciding to try out any spells she has. She's done so once before, maybe cycles ago, and figured it surely couldn't hurt to try again. She decided to try out the spell she had done then, before she started looking to see if she had any other spells. The area had that energetic buzz, and she hoped it would help her cast any spells.
She closed her eyes, and began to feel deep within her, especially to the gem that rested on her leg.

Almost immediately, sprawling plants began to grow on her legs and down her back. It seemed to be an astounding success, and she grinned. It's not every day you can make plants grow on your back!
One plant fell onto the ground, and she focused on it. She could almost feel as though there was something else she could do, perhaps with this plant. So she touched it lightly and began to focus, hoping she'd get as much of a success this time as she did last time.

Right before her very eyes, the plant began to grow rapidly. It caused her to have a headache, but she ignored it and focused on getting the plant to grow as much as possible. Soon, it went into a flowering stage, and she smiled. She'd done it! It left her with a massive headache, but there wasn't much she could do about that.
She was almost done! Hopefully. She wasn't sure she could do too many spells, not with this headache. But she'd certainly try! There was another spell just itching to come out, so of course she had to try it. She focused once more on the plant, and tried to draw her magic out.

She focused, and focused some more, but absolutely nothing happened. Did she...fail? Well. She'd just try again. And she'll get it right this time! Whatever that was supposed to happen. She didn't even know. But surely something she could see was supposed to happen! So she decided to just try again.
She lay down, pressed her nose to the plant, and began to focus once more.

Focusing on the plant, this time, something actually happened! Vianne grinned as the plant began to move. Concentrating, she made it reach toward a hoof, and was thrilled to see that it did. She made it move around a bit more before it became too much for her. She let her hold on it release, and looked back at the plant, wondering what she could do next.
She happened to just barely notice a single seed that had fallen onto the ground. Perhaps she could do something with this? She focused her attention on it, ignoring her ever increasing headache, and tried to make it do something.

The seed before her sprouted, and a small plant began to grow. She watched it, smile still remaining on her face, as it grew into a juvenile plant. After some time, it stopped growing, and she decided to leave it be. She'd done enough for the day, and was rather exhausted. So she lay down beside the plants, closed her eyes, and drifted off to sleep.
