in the beginning

When little Morigarra finally emerged, he did so in Canis, much to the glee of his father.. It was in these first moments where he learned of his malformation (or rather, what he considers his malformation), following his imprinting. His father had a set of glorious white wings and, as a cassowary, Morigarra was destined for a terrestrial life void of flight. He is intensely jealous of all things winged from the start, and feels a mixture of resentment, betrayal, and guilt in regards to this issue. That said, Mori is deeply devoted to Canis from the start - and when he is welcomed in to his father's kingdom, he is more than willing.

Mere hours later he meets a part of his new family.
