glowing brightly - Farrah - May 30 2015






The soft little female had bounced out of the tunnel she was born in, leaving her newest friend behind to go on to explore. She promised to return to him but had this great need to follow a pulling. A pulling that led her into a beautiful room full of so many lights and colors. "Wowwwww . . ." This place was so much larger then the tunnel she crawled from, but she still loved that place. So many memories. Yet, this place was something very new.

There was a bounce in her step as the little Shiba looked around, checking out all the glowing fungi and rocks. Dancing over the breath taking crystals that adored this cave but paused when she located the source of the pulling. Something unlike anything she could imagine, so tall and towering. It glowed so brightly, a beautiful blue. What could it be?

Whatever it was, she could feel a tingling feeling in her nose, down her spine and right to her gem that sat at the base of her tail. A charging was all she could describe it as. For that warm feeling had returned, happiness melted over her and the glowing began. Just like it the tunnel before she met Charming. Oh, she missed him already but her mind drifted back to the glowing tower. What was it?

Whatever it was, it captivated the young pup. She stood up and began to prance around; curled tail held high and her pelt was glowing so radiantly! This was one happy female indeed!

Excitement. It was all Mawra felt as the little kit zoomed here and there throughout the room that housed a very large thing. She didn't know what it was called, but it was covered in gorgeous blue glowing crystals and Mawra was all sorts of fascinated with it. She had found her way here awhile ago. Felt the pull of the energy that seemed to be in great abundant here. Gleeful laughter escaped as she continued to make a game out of leaping from one crystal to the next. Making sure not to jump onto ones that had sharp points that could potentially skewer her. Now that wouldn't be the best of things to happen that was for sure!

With a grin, Mawra jumped from one more Crystal before she chose to look around her surroundings. She could clearly see the spire, still looming high above her and it was all she could to try and see the very top. She studied the crystals with a fascinated smile. For a moment she wondered if, when she was much bigger, she could possibly hop the crystals up to the top just to see what it looked like from up there. For a long moment she day dreamed about it, her little tail swaying about.

Her attention span didn't last long it that single thought when suddenly a flash of light caught the corner of her gaze. She instantly moved to look, her entire body spinning around towards the direction. Eyes wide and mouth agape she searched for it. Watching as the strange bright light grew brighter and brighter! "What's that!?" She yipped out mostly to herself as she leaned further out from her perch on the crystal she had managed to stand on.

She had to find out! Her tail wagged back and forth quickly, causing her entire body to start wiggling back and forth with the movement. Without any hesitance, Mawra jumped from the crystal. It was a beautiful leap from the crystal. Executed perfectly as her paws oh so majestically landed upon the ground in a light thump. Within only seconds of her paws so gracefully reaching the ground below the young kit was off in a sprint towards the bright glowing light.

It didn't take long at all for the young kit to find her way towards it and when she did her eyes grew wide. It was another creature! In her excitement, Mawra forgot she needed to slow down in her haste to find the source of the light. It was too late. She tried to put the breaks on, but all she managed to do was go skidding right for the fellow canine and all she could do was close her eyes and wait for an impact. If there was even an impact at all.

Whatever the thing glowing cluster of crystals was, it drew the young shiba in. Energy seemed to flow all around this room, getting her heart to beat fast and mind race with all sorts of ideas. Could she touch it, where there other ones like this in the caves if she went looking, has Charming seen this yet, what makes it glow? "It's so . . . beautiful!" As she moved closer, glowing brighter now, she heard something coming her way. Little paw steps smacking the ground. Who was there?

Farrah turned her head to the direction of the steps, sounded like someone was running. There was another creature headed her way. Oh why, another friend to make? When she went to face them, it dawned on her that they were note slowing down. Oh dear.

The young female did her best to get out of their way. Feeling them brush right by her before they came to a stop. "Are you alright?" Still glowing, she scooted over to the now stopped gembound. Taking note of the location of the gems on their head and their soft pelt. She did hope they were ok, it was no fun to fall down for sure. Farrah made eye-contact with the little fox. "You can run really fast, can't ya?" Oh the bright side of things for sure.

Mawra breathed out a sigh of relief when she just barely missed colliding into the glowing creature. Alas, it didn't seem her luck was in her favor this time around. Just as she had nearly came to a complete stop something on the ground had caught her front paws and sent her sprawling forward to thud heavily against the ground. The kit huffed for a moment, but it was quickly forgotten as she heard the canine talk. She instantly bounced right back up to her paws and swiveled around to look at the fellow canine.

"Hi! Yes! I'm 'kay" Mawra possitively beamed as her tail wagged around quickly. Outside of her dolphin friend this was the first gembound she had stumbled upon. Her grin broadened when this canine mentioned that she could run fast. "I try!" She yapped happily as she struggled to contain her excitement. She nearly bounced back and forth on her paws as she looked the gold doggy over. "I'm Mawra! What's your name? Are you a canine too?" She couldn't contain the questions as she wiggled closer to the fellow canine, sniffing all the more curious to see if she smelled anything like herself.

Oh how exciting this was! Maybe they could be friends! This golden canine didn't seem all that dangerous. Yet, Mawra knew that not to be true. Everything was dangerous given the right moment. Water was definitely dangerous. Especially if one was just hatching from their stone. Lucky for Mawra her dear friend Eeya had been there to keep her from drowning. Mawra took this time to circle around Farrah, studying her as much as she could. Her tail was definitely much different than Mawra's. It was all curled up and backwards! It looked good though and Mawra grinned at her thoughts before she scurried back to her original spot in front of Farrah; eager to hear her response.

When all of a sudden, something shiny in the distance suddenly attracted Mawra's attention. Without a single word left to the new canine the fox was off chasing after this new thing. Curious to see what it was.
