moonstone daydreams - Roone - Nov 27 2017

In the place known as the room of stars, a small stone had been growing, tucked neatly into a corner. For so long, it had been home for whatever was nestled inside. Now, however, it was too cramped. A sense of panic filled the creature inside, and they twisted and turned, kicking blindly, unable to open their eyes just yet due to instinct and a fear of what may come. They didn't know much, yet, but they knew that they did have to break free from the stone holding them. Even with everything that may happen, a part of him knew that it would be better than staying in the stone.

With a cracking noise, the stone was broken enough that he could squeeze through. The chill of the air reached him, and, even in his stone, he began to shiver. Despite that, he moved towards the source of the air, edging through the opening and flopping onto the ground with a small thump. It may have not been noticeable, but it was still there. For a few moments, the dog lay there, chest heaving as he attempted to catch his breath and regain his energy. After his energy was gained, he stirred, his ruby eyes opening for just a moment. He squinted against the bright light of the gems on the ceiling, but eventually he could open his eyes enough to truly look around, adjusting to the light. For a few moments, he stared up in wonder. This place was so cool!
