She woke wrapped in her lover's embrace and that alone was enough to dull the shock of her memories flooding back. She felt ill, but not deathly.

As she basked in Dizzy's warm enshroudment, she considered herself carefully. She felt off. Something felt missing or different and it was unsettling to the quoll, who'd only just gotten the hang of knowing herself. She dug deep inside to find her magic, to will her nerves to settle, but...

...she tensed up immediately, panic gripping her like an eagle's talons. She couldn't even feel it there. Her stone. Instinctively, she turned her eyes to her tail's spade tip and cringed. Still there, still whole. So why couldn't she feel her stone's energy?

"...Dizzy. Dizzy, wake up my darling." She pushed her nose into her belove's neck and cheek in gentle prodding in hopes the wolverine would waken. "Something is wrong, my Dizzy. I need you."
