She felt weak. It wasn't a huge problem, though. She traveled upon the back of her beloved Dizzy, who lumbered in silence through the caves.

They traveled aimlessly. Perhaps the scent of water or greenery attracted Dazzle towards Cetus for her to pull on her mate's fur and steer her in its direction. She wasn't sure. She was still too shaken. Her body hadn't managed to collect any additional magicka since the accident. She couldn't cast even the simplest of spells.

It certainly didn't suit her.

"We can rest here for tonight, darling." Dazzle spoke up as Dizzy almost moved past a sheltering patch of semi-dry ferns and roots. The larger girl settled there and Dazzle slipped from her mate's back easily. At Dizzy's concerned huff, she shook her head. "I'll only be a moment. I'm hungry. There should be some bugs in these roots." With Dizzy's watchful gaze warming her back, Dazzle started amongst the roots of the swamp trees and began digging. Her movements were sluggish but pointed...

...though her efforts were so far in vain. She dragged her claws down dirt and bark and sighed.

"Come, sleep?" Dizzy's voice hushed towards her. She shook her head again.

"I'll keep looking a bit longer, dear. I'm too hungry to sleep well right now." Dizzy moved to stand, probably to help, but Dazzle waved her back down. "I'l have an easier time of it without your heavy paws." The two shared a soft laugh before Dizzy settled back down and nodded her off. Grateful for the time alone but satisfied, knowing her beloved Dizzy would only be a breath away, Dazzle went back to digging.
