This was probably not his best idea.

Rift was going to be pissed, wasn't he? The older Puma didn't seem to be the sort to like fighting, he seemed to like peace. But... these fights weren't truly fighting, were they? And it was good to be able to protect oneself, wasn't it?

After sticking around to hear his partner, and where he was to fight, he turned to head to the wrestling ring. His large paws, which he had recently begun to grow into, propelled him silently across the dirt, and he quickly made his way to the wrestling ring.

He took a moment to observe his partner, realizing she was practically his canid, female opposite. She was large and muscular, with fur as dark as his. Like his own golden eyes, her gleaming green orbs stood out against her dark fur. The wolf was pacing, as though too excited to even wait.

After a moment, he would lope into the ring, standing tall and proud as he faced off against the wolf. "I should be asking you that, shouldn't I pup?" he jabbed with a grin. "Now, are we going to talk, or are we going to fight?"

And then, in a sudden movement, he would go from standing into motion, merely a streak of black rocketing towards his fellow Gembound. He was aiming to strike Dezba with his shoulder, to knock her off her feet.

As he barreled towards Dezma, the Puma's ears twitched, hearing Rift's voice. He grinned, excited to realize that Rift had come, and was even cheering for him. It put a bit more swagger into his step, and boosted him on.

He grunted at the impact, the canine surprisingly solid. The impact knocked the wind out of him, feeling the she-wolf give some under his attack. To his disappointment, it didn't knock her fully off her paws, but it at least had landed!

Her paw wrapped around him, and he found himself on his back, the she-wolf on top of him. His response to her taunting was little more than an ear flick, and he returned her grin before lashing out with his hind legs, attempting to reverse their positions.

The Puma's face, just for a moment, revealed his frustration as he failed to overturn the she-wolf, tail lashing. But then it was gone, his face set back into his easy grin, at the sound of her 'oof'.

His ears flattened as she grabbed at his scruff, restricting his movements. Thankfully, she seemed to be fighting according to the rules, her teeth not even close to breaking skin. He allowed himself to go limp, sagging beneath her as though surrendering. And then, suddenly, he would bring his limbs in close to him, removing the support that was holding her hindquarters, before kicking out with all four limbs, attempting to either flip them over or throw her off of him.

Sebsatian grinned as he felt the wolf's weight shift as she was sent flying off of him. He used the momentum to sprink to his feet with the spryness of a cat, smiling good naturedly. Unfortunately, the wolf didn't seem to share his good nature, beginning to snarl and bristle.

He stepped back, eyes widening as she began to charge him. The Puma turned so his shoulder was facing her, and dropped his shoulder. If all went well, she'd instead go tumbling over him, and he could try and get out of the way.
