Agrona - Agrona - Jun 14 2018 OOC Name: Second Chances Character: Agrona Other Characters: n/a Element: Water Stone: Saphire Stone Location: Tied into her mane Species: Horse Beginning Spell: Retention RE: Agrona - Livius - Jun 14 2018 @Agrona Hey there! First off, welcome to Origin! Agrona looks like a really interesting character and I can't wait to see what she gets up to in the caves! There are a few changes we'll need you to make first though! I'd recommend giving the characters section of the guidebook a thorough read if you need more detail! Firstly, starting Gembounds such as Agrona must be ordinary animals, at least at first; with plausible colouration and mutations limited to what would occur naturally on earth creatures (such as albinism, melanism and curly hair), with the exception being the eyes (which can be any colour) and gem. However, we offer the opportunity to earn mutation slots through IC means and competitions, which you could use later on down the line to mutate Agarona into her Pegasus form, wings and all! We hold monthly mutation slot raffles, so that may happen sooner than you think! Alternatively, you could work towards earning a rare character slot, which allows fantasy and extinct animals to be played from birth, and would allow you to play a Pegasus from the get-go. These are usually earned through competitions. Next, her gem must be a part of her, and cannot be just an accessory. Think of it like a bone or organ. It is the source of her magic, and keeps her alive. It can however, look like an accessory, depending on where it is placed on the body. It can also be internal, and so invisible to the naked eye. I'd highly recommend looking at some other characters for examples of interesting gem placements! And finally, you mention her leading a life at sea; but the life cycle of Gembounds in the caves is very different from ordinary creatures. Characters here start from birth, meaning that it's easy to jump into the caves without needing to do a lot of research. However, this also means that characters will have to work towards their goals and aspirations. I'm sure that there would be many characters willing to help Agrona achieve her dream of becoming a pirate! This also means that characters do not have lineages, but are fully capable of starting their own family lines in the future. |
