Fit to Kill - Jayberry - Jul 23 2018

Jayberry was fit to kill.

Mother had been furious with her. And she was falling behind her Siblings. Although none of them had yet killed, they were getting close. She hadn't yet sparred with Mother, or even truly proven herself.

Mother wasn't lineant. But Jayberry was not blood, was not her child by Gem or by Stone. So she felt a strong urge to prove herself, to show that she was as good as, if not better than, Mother's kin.

So she took off for Polaris, intent on slaughtering the first Greater that was unfortunate enough to be caught by her nose. She plodded through the heart of Origin Cave, head high and body language determined.

RE: Fit to Kill - Toevij - Jul 24 2018

Toevij had recently found themselves in an obsidian chrysalis. They had since emerged and now found themselves flying around the caves. They hadn't spoken in cycles, instead circling around and observing whatever there was to see. He had seen golems active in Polaris recently, though perhaps they were calming down.

Now, he was watching someone in particular. A wolf, with her head held high and clearly determined. There was something off about her. She was clearly here on a mission, though what that mission was, he couldn't tell. So for now, he flew, slightly circling her, and wondering just what her deal was.

Something above her seemed to ruffle, and so the wolf looked up. There was a, rather large, bird flying overhead, and she found herself growling. It was taunting her, she was sure of it, with those eerie eyes and those unstained feathers. Oh, she wanted to change that.

The she-wolf gave a short, baying howl, hoping to draw the bird's attention to her. When she was able to, she would tilt her head to lock their gazes, her own eyes shifting from gold to red as she cast Terror upon the airborne bird.

She had learned her lesson with the crow-beast. It was far out of her reach, and she needed to bring it into biting range.
