Take Me to Church - Shae - Aug 07 2018 Shae had never strayed from Orion. It was the place where she was born, and it held something dear to her heart. Maybe it was the sparkling quartz crystals that gave the room its name. Maybe it was just because it was her home, and nothing else. Either way, she had stayed here as the time passed and she grew older and began to mature. It seemed like it had been no time at all that she had become older, but, deep down, she knew that it had been longer than she had thought. Besides, Orion was fairly clean and she didn't want to risk going out and getting her fur dirty somewhere else. She found enough that she could hunt, and she was doing the best she could so far. The only thing that lingered in her mind was the energy she had used when she was younger, first emerging. It had been a while since she had tried it. Maybe it was time to try again? Walking in a small circle, she took a deep breath, focusing on the energy she had before. She needed to draw it out, right? Before she could get too far, however, her attention was pulled away by one of the many glowing crystals across the room. No matter how long she had lived here, she liked them all the same. (This will be Shae mainly practicing her spell, but you can toss a character in if you want!) RE: Take Me to Church - Shae - Aug 07 2018 Do better. She could do better than getting distracted by the crystals, even if they were pretty. A shake of her head, and another deep breath left her jaws. She would do better this time. It was simple. Just remember what she did last time, focus on it. Don't let anything distract her. With those thoughts in mind, she pulled at the energy, hoping for the results she had when she was younger. This time was good; the energy had reacted, leaving her with a glow to her pelt. Not what she had wanted, though. She wanted to see how strong the energy would be, how strong it could be. What would it take for such a thing to happen? For her energy to react with more strength than it had? Her mind searched back, to the time she had emerged, and what had caught her attention and caused it. The crystals; of course. Her gaze went to the glowing crystals, glowing with a brightness that she wanted to mimic. She needed it. If she could just mimic the power, she'd be well on her way to learning more. If she could master this, then maybe she could start mastering other things, and learn ways to control the Magick. Maybe she'd be the master of it all! RE: Take Me to Church - Huckleberry - Aug 13 2018 The strange creature, way too large to be jumping around, was prancing through the stones and paths of Orion, strangely happy and free of mind. Whatever worries had bothered them the last few days seemed to have been forgotten. The wound at their side had scabbed horrible and there was a lot of fur missing, but it wasn't bleeding anymore and they could take the wrappings off. RE: Take Me to Church - Shae - Aug 30 2018 Shae was still focused on the glowing stones, wondering just how she could mimic them; if she could, that was. Her curiosities had gotten the better of her while she had been in the cave. She wanted to know more about the magic, the gemstone that was around her neck. Maybe, just maybe, she could find someone that would be able to help her if she left the cave she had stayed in for so long. The minute the thought came to her, she pushed it aside. There was no way she would leave this cave, not while she was safe and sound and clean where she was at. The glow slowly faded from her fur; the glow around the roots of her fur flickered and dimmed, the soft light fading ever so slightly until it reached the tips of her fur. The scent of another made her glance up, and, at the sight of a large creature charging her way, she froze. Had she done something wrong by making her fur glow here? Or had this larger creature seen the glow and decided she was going to be its next victim? While she didn't like the thought of either, Shae preferred the thought of being warned over being in some sort of fight. If it was the latter, she doubted she would win against such a large creature. Not when all she had was glowing fur, anyways. Luckily, the creature came to a stop near her and seemed to be full of energy. This wasn't going to be bad; the creature just wanted to know about the glow that had come from her fur. Shae found herself relaxing, just slightly. At least she knew now that she wasn't going to be trampled, right? At the question, and the resulting sparks, her fluffy tail wagging back and forth. "You did it! I saw sparks!" If she had to keep this creature happy to make it through this encounter, she' do everything that she could think of. @Huckleberry RE: Take Me to Church - Huckleberry - Sep 02 2018 Huckleberry gave a small leap of joy. He knew that he could make sparks, but he didn't know if it actually made him glow. It would be super cool if he could! But the dog had been glowing differently. He wanted to glow like them. |
