Kingdom of Eridanus - Rift (Original) - Sep 20 2018 ...or some name similar. Remember when Rift was a cub and he tried to start a plant group? And it fell flat on his face? Hopefully you don't because it isn't happening again! This time, Rift knows what he's doing...kind of. If you don't know who Rift is, obviously you haven't encountered him in Eridanus yet. Probably a good thing, unless you use plant magic. He can be a bit iffy about outsiders. Hopefully he didn't cause you too much trouble if you ran into him. But now there's good news! Rift is gonna have a change of heart! Perhaps not immediately, but in time he'll realize that plants aren't just for looking at. See, he has a few students and some friends. And they like plants and plant magic. Although he teaches a lot, he still has a lot to learn - for one, that the bounty of the earth is one to be shared and enjoyed instead of hoarded and protected. While, yes, Rift will still consider himself a protector of the forest, he's willing to open his heart a little bit. So, in time, he will come to form a Kingdom in his beloved home, a Kingdom dedicated to the love of the forest, nature, and all things living. So, what's the Kingdom? Well, for one, they're a group that's gonna live in Eridanus. Pretty simple. Besides that, they will charge themselves with the care and protection of both the life within the forest and around the rest of the caves. This doesn't just end with plants, although greenery is the main focus - all life has meaning and should be guarded. So those that have little regard or care for life are not only unwelcome, but the Kingdom's main enemy. Okay, but what are they gonna do? Well, anything, really! There will be a produce market for whatever its members can come up with, runs into other caves to grow some plants or improve some life, help anyone they find that is weak or inured, act as a sanctuary for the lost, and generally be cool and helpful from the forest. Also, Rift will teach you some cool plant magic if you want. Alright, any requirements for joining? All you need is a love for plants or life and an open heart! Also, you can't be prokaryotic element. Or, at least, hide that you're of that element. Unfortunately, Rift has a bit of a vendetta against prokaryotic users. If you want to change his mind, give it a shot! Are there any high-ranking positions? At the moment, no. Rift will be the leader and guardian, but there is no 'king' or 'queen' or really anything that would define it as a proper "Kingdom." It's just a name. Perhaps once the groups starts Rift will appoint willing members to certain jobs/tasks/positions that they're suited for. Anyways, that's all I've got for now.
