An obsidian chrysalis near Crystal River has begun to show cracks as the life growing inside it is now desperately trying to get out of it's stone prison. Soft cries can be heard as a pair of stubby black paws emerge through one of the cracks, and with a bit of time and effort, eventually the crack begins to grow wider. Finally, as the cracks grow so large that the chrysalis can no longer hold together, it crumbles to reveal a bear cub. Any who have never seen a panda before would likely find her markings rather unusual, but she sure was pretty adorable. Letting out another cry, she looks around, trying to get her bearings.

She blinks a bit at the flickering crystals lighting the cave, eventually catching their reflection on a nearby river. She was thirsty, so she wanted a drink, but the banks of the river were very steep. Timidly, she tries to carefully make her way down to the river, but partway down she stumbles and winds up tumbling down the bank and into the river with a splash. She climbs back out onto land and shakes the water from her fur, now she was wet and cold. She gives a distressed cry, but decides now that she's here, she may as well get a drink. She lowers her muzzle to the river, lapping up the water until her thirst is satisfied.
