Grumbly Grump - Gertrude - Jun 16 2015
RE: Grumbly Grump - Krakarak - Jun 16 2015 It had only been a week --or maybe two?-- that he'd last seen Mr. Spotty-Butt the Leopard. He'd left Polaris behind and flown around to his heart's content. Today found him back in Polaris, he didn't know why but perhaps he'd find something interesting. Last time he had the leopard to blackmail. What would he find today? As he cruised the skyways he noticed something glimmering on the ground. Wanting to get a closer look just in case it was a shiny he could grab, the black bird lowered himself closer to the ground. Unfortunately, it wasn't something he could grab. It was just another bird with some strange gem on its head. Bummer. He couldn't take that. Dismayed, the raven almost flew away but stopped when he noticed that silly strut the gray and white bird had. Did he fancy himself as some sort of royal thing? Intrigued the raven tailed him from the air. Making sure he flew slightly behind the bird as not to cast a shadow on top of him. The longer he watched the more he found the creature to be hilarious! Just look how he strutted! He thought of himself as some sort of pretty bird. Ah ha! That was funny. The only one who was a pretty bird around here was him. Perhaps he ought to show that bird brain who was the real prince. With a flap of his wings and a glimmer of his purple claw he flapped his wings and flew a little bit faster. He even lowered himself to skim right over the creature's head, hoping to scare him. Then, he landed in front of the bird. The raven spread his wings out on either side of him, showing his size and blocking the creature's way. Normally he wasn't so forward but today he was feeling lucky. Finally he had someone smaller than himself to pick on. "Krahaha! Prince? That's quite funny! Hahaha!" The raven cawed and laughed in his face. "If anyone here's a prince it's Krakarak! He's the one who's the smartest and prettiest bird in all of the caves!" He laughed again, loudly, right in front of the gem-headed bird's face. ____ words: 365 tagged: Gertrude ooc: --- muse: 6/10 "Talking" Thinking RE: Grumbly Grump - Gertrude - Jun 16 2015 (Jun 16 2015, 07:46 PM)Gertrude Wrote: RE: Grumbly Grump - Krakarak - Jun 16 2015 Oh, such a reaction! The bird puffed himself up and called him an imbecile. Krakarak would have been insulted had it not been for the fact that this bird thought he was some sort of king. Well, in a roundabout sort of way. Simply to piss the puffed up dove off further while he was speaking the raven tucked his wings back to his sides and dipped his head to the ground to begin pecking at the insects there. Feigning disinterest in his words. He only raised his head up to speak a few moments after the other finished. The look in his eyes was smug, same with the shit-eating grin on his face as he opened his beak to answer. "Then show me, imbecile! Krak Krak! I am the great Krakarak! The one who is the prettiest bird of the caves and who is the prince of carrion! Krakaw!" He would have said king but Aza'zel was the king. In fact, Aza'zel was the only bird who he would give the authority to unless another earned his respect. So far that had yet to happen and this pigeon wasn't doing so well as to earn his respect. Just to see if it would anger him further Krak turned his head slightly away from the bird, as if he was hardly worth his time and said, "Krakarak would rather have 'drab' feathers than a stupid misshapen rock head! Krak!" Now, let him come back from that! Krakarak enjoyed this sort of thing. Pissing people off just to see how angry they got. Sure, it was a dangerous game sometimes but with someone as small as the pigeon he doubted he would come off bad in a fight. ____ words: 287 tagged: Gertrude ooc: --- muse: 6/10 "Talking" Thinking RE: Grumbly Grump - Gertrude - Jun 16 2015
RE: Grumbly Grump - Krakarak - Jun 16 2015 Now, it was starting to get personal. Instead of insulting his nonexistent status as servant he was now insulting his actual status. Krakrak scoffed. Showed what he knew! Black was the color of royalty! In fact, "My colors better than yours! Krak Krak! You look like a stinky, dirty maggot with a stupid head!" Who did he think he was fooling? That icky gray color. How gross was that? Black was where it was at! Besides, his feathers had a lovely purple sheen to them that was unique to just him. The raven's dark eyes narrowed as the pigeon exaggerated his laughter. Krakarak puffed his own feathers up with slight irritation. Eyes glaring holes into the dove's body. After the other jumped up with indignation it was Krakarak's turn to laugh and he did so with gusto. Did he honestly think that ugly green thing was pretty? Krakarak had an addiction to collecting shiny gems but even he wasn't attracted to it. Perhaps that was because it was attached to an ugly gray thing with a bad attitude. However, his laugh cut off when the pigeon insulted his intelligence. "Krakarak could say the same of you! How do you even have a brain when your whole head is made of a stupid gem?" He cawed out angrily. Then... He did it. Krakarak could stand a lot of things but this was where he drew the line. The pigeon dared to peck at his talon, his beautiful amethyst talon with his dirty beak?! It didn't hurt, no, his amethyst claw wasn't going to be injured by a light tap with that stupid beak. "KRAKAW!" He crowed loudly in anger. That was the only warning the dove got before Krakarak raised his wings and flapped them to take the weight off of his feet in an attempt to kick them out at the pretentious fowl. He was aiming to stick that amethyst talon right in his stupid stomach. "Helpful enough to kick idiots like you! Krakawaw!" ____ words: 315 tagged: Gertrude ooc: I put the fight thing at the bottom because I imagine they aren't just gonna let this go XD muse: 7/10 Injuries: None Defenses: Ain't nobody got time for that! RE: Grumbly Grump - Krakarak - Jun 17 2015 Ha ha! The blow had landed and Krakarak now started laughing in the bird's face. "Stupid, ugly gem-face! KRAKAW!" While he was laughing the bird should have been paying attention to his adversary. The dove dropped his head and rammed his belly but since the raven had been laughing his defenses weren't set and he was caught full in the belly. "Oof!" He gasped out as the hard gem, that he'd previously been making fun of, caught him in the belly. The raven fell backwards and lay there for a moment. The gem had managed to cause minor bruising on his gut and it was a very uncomfortable sensation. However, Krakarak wasn't about to take that lying down... Not from someone who was smaller than he was! Time to assert his dominance! The raven gave an angry "caw" before he righted himself and flapped his wings. He lifted into the air and flew forwards towards the pigeon. Right in front of him he aimed to rake his talons across the bird's eyes and chest in an attempt to hurt him. While he did this the bird puffed up his feathers mostly on instinct but it was a move to protect himself from too much damage. He also tucked his head into his breast feathers just in case... You never knew what could happen. ____ words: 223 tagged: Gertrude ooc: Six rounds is fine with me :3 muse: 7/10 Injuries: Minor bruising on belly Defenses: Puffed up feathers, Tucking his head into his breast Attacks: Flying into the air and slashing his talons at Gertrude's face in an attempt to get his eyes or even his chest. "Talking" Thinking RE: Grumbly Grump - Gertrude - Jun 17 2015 Briar clarified that Krakarak is staying in the air hovering above Gertrude, so I'm going off of that.
RE: Grumbly Grump - Krakarak - Jun 17 2015 While he hovered up above his opponent the black bird's attempts to slash the dove's face only ended in failure. Stupid gem head! That wasn't fair! It was cheating to be able to have gem armor like that! His continued attempts at slashing the bird finally paid off though only in a small amount as he gave the creature a couple of scratches. The puffed up feathers were an adequate defense when coupled with the tucked head. Krakarak couldn't break though it! What's more the bird attempted to bite him with his stupid beak! However, Krakarak was able to maneuver his talons away from the biting mouth so it only resulted in the other biting air. The raven was able to keep his feet from harm. Still, that proved that Krakarak needed to get his talons away from the gem-face's mouth. So, he back-flapped and pulled himself about a foot away from the dove. The raven landed on his talons, spreading his legs out to distribute his weight while clutching the earth with his talons. His wings opened and he flapped them in an attempt to summon a gust with the intent to knock the dove off balance. While he did this he kept his feathers puffed up in case of a retaliation while his talons clutched the ground in case the spell backfired. He'd been knocked off his feet once with this spell, he didn't need it to happen twice! ____ words: 241 tagged: Gertrude ooc: --- muse: 6/10 Injuries: Minor bruising on belly Defenses: Puffed up feathers, Legs spread apart to distribute weight, Talons clutching ground for balance Attacks: Using Gust to try and off-balance Gertrude or knock him over.
