Zevruu couldn't remember the last time he had left Orion. The cave had been his home for cycles. But it no longer felt safe, no longer felt like home. Not after the creature he had fought alongside others. If he thought hard enough, he could still catch wisps of the feelings it had left within him. Of the thoughts, the images. They wouldn't go away. He had left as soon as he could, desperate to get away. His paws led him to an area he hadn't been to very often, and into a tunnel he'd been in a couple of times before. It was part of the passage to Polaris. Surely there would be safe?

As he walked, he couldn't help but think of the creature. Dreamstalker, was it? Would it...stalk his dreams? It had felt like the creature was gone, vanished, after they defeated it. But how was he to know if that was actually true? What if it was just lying in wait, waiting for him to fall into a false sense of security? Was there something like the Dreamstalker in other caves? Was anywhere safe?

He'd been in these caves for too long. He'd have thought he would've seen everything by now, but clearly, the caves had a way of disproving such. He flicked his tail before continuing on his way, thoughts still swimming in his head.
