loneliness is not my misery - Reseda - Apr 18 2019
It had been many cycles since Reseda's dramatic leave from the Sinful Seven. Orion was no longer her home and she doubted that it would even be safe for her anymore so she had taken to her old place in the Chambers where she had flown into a terrible rage. There were broken bones and rocks thrown everywhere, the corpses of Lesser Gembounds, half eaten, bones, or even straight up full carcasses tossed around and ripped apart with disregard. Her anger, a built up rage from cycles of feeling nothing, had consumed her for days. But now she sat among the debris, calm, collected, and cold once again. @Eli RE: loneliness is not my misery - Eli - Apr 20 2019 "Elyon!"
@Reseda
Eli's cry echoed through out the hollowed chambers."Elyooon!! Where'd you go? C'mon dude, I gotta cool trick to show you! He padded through the scattered bones, his hurried steps betrayed a sense of growing urgency. He had not seen his sister in while. This was very strange, normally she never left the Chambers, not since she obtained that cool flail from the Collector. Eli stopped to shake the stress from his coat and sniff the air. Her scent was here, but it was very stale. "Erngh, where are you, Elyon?" He groaned to himself. He was beginning to worry for his sister. Something must have been very for her to up and leave without saying goodbye! With his nose to the floor, Eli continued down the path, following fadinging her scent trail to caves-knows-where. Reseda paused when she heard a voice echoing through the cave. Someone was nearby. They were young, she could tell that just from the voice, and desperate for something. Calling out. Perhaps a child separated from their family. They would make a good target, if she wanted to test the waters. @Eli RE: loneliness is not my misery - Eli - Apr 25 2019 Eli's ears perked up at the voice and he snapped head around. The giant lizard had seemingly come out of nowhere! His tongue lolled out happily at her generous offer to help. What a nice lizard! "Oh yes!" He panted. "I can't find my sister, her name's Elyon, she's usually here" A whimper escaped from his muzzle as he casted his eyes to ground. I..I think something's bad happened..." He gave the ground another sniff. Eli was worried for her, but he couldn't help but feel hurt. Why didn't she say goodbye?
@Reseda
"You're totally welcome to help, ma'am, she's uh, reaaaly big, muscular, got four walkin' legs and two funny-lookin' grasper claws out front, a beak-- oh, and a beard like mine!" He pawed at the signature "Vita beard" on his muzzle. Eli's eyes sparkled with new found hope at his ally. "I'm thinking about asking the Collector if he's seen her, you see, he gave her this weird weapon-thing she'd hunt with and stuff--" Eli walked ahead, chatting about Elyon and her bizarre relationship with the flail and their many adventures in the Chambers, oblivious to the fact if the lizard was actually listening or not. So much talking from one little creature. So trusting, so open. Apparently she had done something right this time. She listened with interest, her brow creasing with worry and her eyes slowly blinking, as if to visibly show she was thinking. @Eli |
