[CLOSED] Hiring Dedicated Moderator(s) - Game Master CJ - Apr 25 2019
Hello!
We are looking for one, potentially two, dedicated moderators to help maintain the Magicka Market and Update Me! threads. This position is vital to character progression and should not be taken lightly. If you apply for this position, please make sure you have the time available to see to these threads on a daily basis, or as close to that as possible. (For example, I know I cannot be on Wednesdays and Thursdays; of course there may be days you cannot get on for some reason or another, but in general, your availability must be open enough to clear these threads at least once a day or so.) We will teach you how to update these things and where to do them, as well as some general guidelines on what to look out for.
As a member of our staff team, you represent Origin on a higher level, and will be held to a higher degree of expectation when interacting with other members and guests, and elsewhere offsite (as in, using Origin's name or when affiliating as Origin, etc.). If we find you to be misrepresenting Origin in any way, you will be removed from the staff team and no longer eligible to apply again in the future. If you abuse your forum moderator or control panel access, or administrator control panel access, you will be removed from the staff team and no longer eligible to apply again in the future.
We aim to be a fun and chill environment, and our team is nothing special in terms of gold stars or extra points; we are here to help out and serve our community. Nothing about being a moderator means you can tell other members what to do or what they cannot do. If you think you notice someone doing something wrong, do as you would in any other situation and report it to a Game Master.
Moderators who show great activity over a long timespan and full understanding of our Guidebook may even be rotated on as Game Masters down the road and if needed.
If I notice you do not seem to have the time you applied with, I will confirm with you only once that you do indeed have the time for this position; if the threads get backed up with you as the moderator after we confirm you have the time for this position, I will seek someone else and you will be removed from the position. If this happens, do not take it personally. We simply want the threads to be updated and moving fluidly so that everyone can be kept up to date with their magicka and spells, etc. Again, this position is vital to character progression and should not be taken lightly.
