A Gem in the Mist - Jayberry - May 17 2019
RE: A Gem in the Mist - Game Master Dark - May 18 2019 At length, her paws struck stone. After some uncovering, and perhaps cleaning, it would become more visible: a faint blue-green shimmer in the mud.
Jayberry has found a rough Aquamarine belonging to a Pupil-level (+2) hybrid creature: half African Lion, half Addax. @Jayberry RE: A Gem in the Mist - Jayberry - May 18 2019
RE: A Gem in the Mist - Game Master Dark - May 18 2019 Eventually, Jayberry would come across another stone: a polished pebble of Turquoise, again shining blue-green, though this one a much more colorful shade. This gemstone once belonged to a Pupil-level (+2) hybrid of Cheetah and Clownfish.
@Jayberry RE: A Gem in the Mist - Jayberry - Jun 17 2019 Still clutching her precious gemstones, the she-wolf continued to make her way through Cetus. The swamp pulled at her paws, and dragged at her tail--it certainly wasn't helping her learn to walk with her new funny forepaws and uneven legs. Carefully, she cast out her magic, a slight flicker drawing her eye. Shifting the gemstone, she began to paw at the ground, digging through the marsh until she struck gemstone. RE: A Gem in the Mist - Game Master Dark - Jun 17 2019 The stone was a polished, glistening, milky-blue Chalcedony. Once cleaned of the muck and grime, it would have a shimmering, translucent quality--as if too pure for Cetus. The Chalcedony had once belonged to a Fledgling (+1) creature of uncertain origins.
In appearance, it was something lizard-like--a gecko, perhaps, with large, sticking toes and, when healthy, a thickly-fat tail. It was hardly more than the size of one, too; less than a foot long from head to tail-tip. Its scales were deep, flaming orange. Its face, however, was strangely person-like, entirely humanoid in appearance. A pair of small, branching antlers jutted from the back of its skull. @Jayberry |
