Thothaga could have swore the golem dam was littered with stones, but alas, those shambling rocks must have gathered every last one. There was not even a crumb.

She focused once more, using magick along with her hairs to pinpoint any sleeping stones. They were around here somewhere, she could feel it in her legs. Suddenly, her magick backlashed. AAH!! Pain split into her abdomen as a violent pulse of magick erupted from her sparking gem. Thothaga winced, if there were any golems around, they would have sensed that. "Blasted blast!" She hissed to herself, scrambling over the boulders.

It would be foolish to stick around after that display. The golems would be hunting her gem after this.

Unless...
The Maiden got an idea. It was a risky, but it could yield tons of gems. I can use this to my advantage.. I can trap and kill a golem. Thothaga never thought of herself as a thrill-seeker, but this plan excited the huntress in her. They would be her prey, her big, deadly, stone prey.
