[SVS - CoR/KotH] flaming flutist - Hemlocke - Dec 21 2019 Such as Master Aquarian's. A spark of magic, long hidden and near-forgotten stuttered through its form, red eyes seeming to shift, world blurring into grey as red dots appeared. A chirp of recognition followed, ears pricking upwards. Hemlocke was familiar with this, had seen through this magic before, many years ago. The Eye hunkered down on the spot, and lifted into the thicker mists above, towards a particularly thick cluster of red. anyone can enter at any time, but if they're not cor or hive, they'll likely be ignored or avoided! RE: [SVS - CoR/KotH] flaming flutist - Sergei - Dec 21 2019 Sergei was not good at subterfuge. He hoped he wouldn't have to be. He was there as a deterrant--a bruiser; to follow orders to the letter. Azrael was the other "muscle," and between the two of them--at least, when both were present--the bear felt pretty confident that they could kill anything that threatened Mother or her servants. Right now, the bear--half-soaked in mud, and with a rather absent expression--was lying a couple yards from the den. He was on his stomach, hind paws splayed behind him, forepaws holding a long, thick branch between them. And this, he was chewing idly. He foraged and fished close by, but even when full and on "duty," he seemed to feel the need to gnaw on something. Though very dark in color, the bear would not be hard at all, with his size, to pick out with heartbeat-sensing magic: his was large, strong, and pulsing. RE: [SVS - CoR/KotH] flaming flutist - Pallas - Dec 21 2019 Pallas was ever busy trying to accommodate everyone and everything that came to exist in his previously unprepared hovel. He didn't think he'd ever worry about others, worry about how they saw him, but now? He felt near responsible for them. And he needed to show them that he could take care of them, of his family and their Mother.
And taking care of her, he was. He'd taken a while to complete a well-like circle of rock in the mud around her intending to keep the water out. White tendrils already grew over the bottom ones thanks to the feeding she received from the others and care provided to her. Next course of action was Reji's resting place, then to where the others ended up around the den. He felt safe with Sergei and Azrael about. He didn't expect the feeling of protection to flow through him- he normally felt more safe in the dark, up in the trees. Here though, surrounded by family, well. His house felt like a home. He nearly didn't feel as on edge as he normally was as he shoved the final rocks into place along the mud wall of Mother's little pit. Needless to say, he'd be detected by the magic, especially as his heart beat strong in the middle of his work. RE: [SVS - CoR/KotH] flaming flutist - Hemlocke - Jan 12 2020 Hemlocke drew its conclusions - these must be the Children of Rot - it hummed, and circled back towards the entrance of Cetus. They're all clustered together. Perhaps a family unit? Perhaps guarding something? It'd wisened up from the last spying expedition - to not keep tabs on things when they were in the open (or hiding in the open) or with little cover but the fog. Hemlocke was certain it was casting a shadow through the fog. Flapping broad wings once or twice, it swooped down - picking up speed - and made to leave. The clustering was all it needed to know, or so it thought. They had to be gathering around something - some central focal point. casually immediately backing out lol @Pallas @Sergei RE: [SVS - CoR/KotH] flaming flutist - Pallas - Jan 12 2020 There was no chance for him to have known that he was even being spied on. Instead, Pallas just continued to work, making sure Mother was comfortable in her return.
Life was good. ;exit Pallas? |
