Peace in Orion - Mevoh - Feb 10 2020
Mevoh was busy eating a lesser gembound rat, scarfing down the meat as she ripped it apart with her beak. Her long legs held down the rat, and she used her beak to pick out the best parts. Unless you knew her age, you probably would not have guessed she was one cycle old. She was very mature for her age, and highly intelligent. But she was also malevolent as well. She ate in peace, wondering where to go when she finished her meal.

Nemean was curled on her plush bed, hidden away in the labyrinth of the old city. Around her were her dressed-up golems, patrolling the streets and keeping pesky gembounds way from her secret den. She wasn't in the mood to socialize today, so her golems had been given extra snacks of magic to entice their hunger.

Unaware that Nemean was nearby, the secretary bird finally finished her meal. She yawned, letting out a large squawk that rang out throughout the room. That yawn felt good, and so she decided to take a seat to get some relaxation time. She took a quick grooming period to straighten out her feathers and appearance. Finally satisfied, she would lay her head down, with her eyes open, taking note of her surroundings.
