Spy vs Spy: Conclusion

The Spy vs Spy event is now officially over! All group members (Children of Rot, Bonebound, The Seven, and Kingdom of Eridanus) may claim the following achievement in Update Me:

As a summary, upon Wilder's wakening of Rezik, Reji's subsequent awakening, and the return of Mother's Hive, the Hive began to recruit members... mind-controlling them to its cause. Rezik, a rather unlikable snob, had in the past betrayed Gembound to the Masters. Reji, his rebellious sister (though with a good heart) had in the past sided with the Hive to fight the Masters. In the current day, Reji fled with the Hive and its members to Cetus, while Rezik was placed with the Bonebound for his protection.

The Bonebound were tasked, by Astraea, with protecting Rezik. They were promised the Collector's loot if they succeeded, and were to give two members to the Trials if they failed. Opal Three-Seven-Six, of the Hive, managed to knock Rezik into his chrysalis. As Rezik did not outright die, the Bonebound will be neither punished, nor rewarded. Threads: here, and here. The Kingdom of Eridanus were tasked, by Astraea, with seeking out and destroying Reji. They were promised lore knowledge of Eridanus and Astraea's personal protection if they succeeded, and were told they would need to 'volunteer' two members to the Trials if they failed. The Children of Rot were tasked, by Reji, with keeping the Hive safe. They were promised her allegiance, and the alliance of the Hive, if they succeeded. They were unaware of the Hive itself and its nature, or the consequences of failure: infection. Upon the intervention of the Kingdom of Eridanus, they uncovered the reality, and are preparing a group assault against the Hive (see KoE additional threads, and BB additional threads, which also include CoR). The Seven were tasked, by Nemean, with seeking out and killing Rezik. They refused, nor could they find him, and Nemean has retaliated by releasing a flood of gemstone-eating Green Wallcrawlers through their home cave of Orion. Threads here and here. Other threads here.

The Kingdom of the Sea were not yet in existence, but in their members' visiting of the Hive, they were entirely absorbed or harmed badly enough that they entered their chrysalids. Orlaith remains in her gemstone, while the rest are now also members of the Hive. Threads: here, and here.

As a result of the actions and decisions, then, of the characters involved, a Kingdom of Eridanus member reported the tentative existence of Cetus' Hive to a Children of Rot member. The Children of Rot sent word to the Bonebound, who prepared assistance, and the Seven are joining them. This potentially ultimate-showdown thread is now taking place here:
