Why did I come here? - Sadie - Jul 06 2015

OOC: For Fallah

Sadie had decided that it was high time for her to leave Eridanus and do some exploring in the other caves. Eridanus was a fine place to live, with all of its mostly edible greenery, but now the growing Gembound was starting to get bored there. So she ventured off.

Now she was here, in Cetus. Her first obversation of the place was that it was very, very wet. Already her golden coat was damp from the ever-present mist. Her cloven hooves sunk into mud with pratically every step, and made odd sucking sounds as she pulled them free. There was lots of actual water here too, though since she was having trouble seeing anything through the mist, it served more as potential drowning hazard than a place to drink.

Sadie really didn't like this place.

OOC: I was given permission to ride on Sadie's back.

Fallah's body swayed to and fro. It wasn't some sort of dance or swagger, the lynx was riding atop the moo friend Sadie. They had come to Cetus, a place Fallah often visited. The damp air smelled familiar, and the cat's ears and eyes surveyed the area through the mist. Sadie seemed to slow and become cautious, causing Fallah to perk. The two would go on for a bit before the lynx would jump down and speed ahead of the cow, leading her to a good water hole, "Careful, big fish over there." the feline would state as if the whole experience hadn't been absolutely terrifying to begin with, "Not bad. Scary." Fallah would shrug, hoping that summed up the big scary fish thing that kind of tried to kill them... or maybe eat them... or... defend something. It was an event Fallah didn't want to reflect on, "Good water here." The statement was made as the cat's maw hovered slightly above the water. Fallah would try to use magic to absorb water from the mist, but if that didn't work, there was always, you know, drinking.

Fallah decided both would work. Drinking the mist was taking too long. Though the water was actively being absorbed into the lynx's fur, it was easier for the time being to lap up the water and just... be normal.
