DAY 5 - YOU CHOOSE 5 THINGS
Post below with literally anything to be entered into today's raffle, as long as you post five things. It can be something funny, a song, your favorite movie, a cool fact, your favorite quote, whatever—give me five things!
Here's mine, hehe:
1. my favorite painting is 'new year's eve foxfires at the changing tree' by utagawa hiroshige
2. my favorite color is steel blue
3. one time i was playing jackbox (or something similar?) with my friends and it was my first time playing. one of the prompts was to write a joke. however it did not give any more info than that, so i wrote out a whole ass joke. turns out it was supposed to be like a single line, couple word thing and everyone did like 'boobs haha' or w/e and here's my entry like 'what did the zookeeper say about the baguette? it was bread in captivity!' and everyone laughed when they got to it like 'haha who wrote out a whole joke hahaha' but i couldn't stop laughing at both the situation and my own joke so they found out it was me. like sorry i tried to play the game ok it wanted a joke, that's my joke >:(
4. my favorite power in games is lightning, but my favorite things to play as are summoners, tamers, or healers with the bonus of being a druid. so if you're out there, big game dev, and you're wondering what to make your next class, i'm tellin you... ok, lightning healer that summons creatures and can shift like a druid. that's the shit. i promise. big money.
5. i love characters with dark grey-brown skin, white hair or accents, and dark sclera eyes with glowy bright iris colors. typically lilac is my favorite. i love making characters like that. that my fave.... im hot for that... i always wanted to design one for origin but im really bad at saving money for an rcs and always buy npc art instead >_>

1. my best friend is a person named smug! (not actually, it's an online name) also jokingly called, "therapy smug", because of how good they are at comforting people
2. my favorite thing in the world is james, the horse i literally made a character based off of haha
3. my favorite colors are cyan (neon cyan, like eyesore color) and royal purple, and it's also my favorite color combo to make palettes with!
4. favorite animal? dragons (yeah they aren't real but too bad, i don't care). i have so much history with them (you could call it an obsession), being that i've grown up with them, since my parents played dnd and i read so many fantasy novels i had ideas falling out of my ears, and started writing and drawing them very young
5. my favorite movie is avatar as of right now, because i watched it recently and it's really inspired me to try and make my own world (it's going meh but it's also been in development for years and im the master of procrastination)

1. I'm getting close to closing on a house and getting married to my best friend. Very excited.
2. I have two lil chihuahuas that are spoilt. They weigh like 3 and 4.5lbs each. Ziggy is black and white and his little tongue pouches out when he sleeps, he's very shy but it makes him twice as endearing when he plays. Fifi is built for speed and is tan and white. When she runs, she puts her butt to the ground and curls her tail under and it's like her front end is higher than the back.
3. I have an addiction to monochromatic chars. Am not creative. XD
4. Mitis has always been described as egg-like due to her roundness.
5. I have a very jealous green parrot who screams if my fiance touches me too much.

2. my favorite game is guardians of ga'hoole for the wii! the flight is so fun and i actually really enjoy the combat system and the aesthetics even if the wii graphics were CRISP
3. i know way too much about the sonic the hedgehog franchise due to my old hyperfixation on it when i was younger and me continuing to need to be in the loop about it even though everything but mania keeps disappointing me hsdfnnfgb (but listen ok i liked the movie enough to watch it twice)
4. i bought 2.4k turnips at 102 like a fool on sunday and my stalks have been tanking ever since :cattocry:
5. one of my favorite songs is spring/sun/winter/dread by everything everything like it's one of the VERY few songs i can actually remember the lyrics to and sing all the way through without hesitating

1. a long time ago i was really frustrated while trying to remember the password for something, and jokingly put "everythingsucks". i did not expect it to work. i had somehow, for some reason, set that password as everythingsucks, and forgot about it. i still laugh about that.
2. i was born on george washingtons birthday! feb 22nd!
3. i broke my arm during the 1st week of 1st grade while attempting my 1st try on the monkey bars, which happened to be my 1st broken bone, and my 1st time riding in an ambulance! lotsa firsts!
4. when i was younger i had a guinea pig that, after he died, my whole family, me and my mom mostly, swore we could hear squeaking years after. we dubbed it the ghost of lenny.
5. i had 2 imaginary friends when i was younger called bob and jerry. bob was a friendly hornet/wasp in a fedora with an optional stinger i pretended to yell at him for wearing alot, and jerry was a blue mouse with black polkadots. i dropped them after a few years, because i mainly made them up so i could be like the cool little girl in the disney show jessie who had a mermaid imaginary friend.

Are we doin' stuff about ourselves?
1. I'm a total edgelord. Black stuff, ominous dogs, fire-breathing dragons, literally anything Lovecraftian, I get childish joy out of writing it. I try hard not to take it too seriously, but damn I love DM'ing a good spooky campaign. You probably already know this one, if you know me.
2. I'm a sucker for well-done redemption arcs in any fiction. A char sacrificing to come back from being selfish and destructive to selfless and saving someone else at their own cost is absolutely my jam.
3. I've worked wildlife rehab & rescue, interned at different (small & large animal) vets, worked at animal shelters and sanctuaries and hobby-trained Schutzhund (protection/tracking) as well as SAR-style dog tracking. I have lots of stories from all of these, and many are cool (ask me any time!).
As a kid I had a hobby-trained tracking dog named Dutchess, a happy shelter mutt (golden retriever/collie mix) I'd trained. Neighbor's cat (13 years old I think she was) got out in a storm, afraid of the thunder, and got lost. eventually, after a week or so, they asked me to try and find it. The dog (given a bit of the cat's blanket to start with) led me on what I thought was a wild goose chase through the woods, down 2 roads, and back toward home, then stopped/milled about in the road. I figured she had lost the track/wasn't interested. 11 days after the cat had gone missing I was asked to try again, and she led me on the same exact trail. Realizing it wasn't coincidence, and that she actually was still picking up a trail after 11 days and a rainstorm, I went with her this time. She stopped in the same spot in the road. I still come to tears at the memory of the young kid (he had come with us) suddenly crying out, "That's my cat!" - I turn, he's squatting looking down into the gutter on the roadside. The cat was still alive; our happy gay neighbor couple came down and pried the gutter rail up to get her out, and after some IV fluids at the vet, she was fine. The coolest part is, the other kid (brothers), who I'd asked to go ask around knocking on nearby doors to ask if anyone had seen the cat (since the dog had stopped the trail here) said that one of the people had seen one of the local strays bringing food into that gutter, and didn't know why--so the cat was saved by another cat, and a stray at that!
4. I'm an equal-opportunity music listener and super fixated on sound. I love all sorts of music, except country/growly metal, and I'll listen to just about any genre. My playlists get weird, from Ramin Djawadi to Pink Floyd to... I'm also uhh... misophonic, is it? CANNOT STAND mouth-chewing or breathing noises. Voices can be the most attractive or off-putting thing about a person to me, and songs from sad scenes in movies/games hit the memories hard and can TOTALLY make me cry. case in point: cj will cry
5. I'm one of the oldest people on Origin, though not the oldest. I have other gaming sites and communities I'm a part of and I think Origin's got the youngest crowd, for some reason. Y'all are YOUTHS. I started RP and DMing on World of Warcraft, sometimes DMing for ~10-15 people in real time. A friend and fellow WoW-DM described it like trying to herd rabid squirrels.

1. I kinda have a hangover right now. A teeny one.
2. I'm adopted by my grandparents which makes my family tree a little confusing if you go by adoption instead of birth x.x
3. I'm dating a twin and sometimes I still get which one he is wrong
4. My tailbone has been broken. Twice. The first time was 6th grade and was from me running in the halls and slipping and falling directly on it. The second time was nearly 4 years TO THE DAY later when a 'friend' of mine pushed me off a seat and I fell straight down on my butt on the floor.
5. I feel very unfulfilled in my life and don't know what to do to feel more successful. Probably linked to depression...
