{ task } PROLOGUE - Azazel (Original) - Jul 06 2015 Hardly anything was interesting about the bones of Canis anymore. To Azazel, most were just meals to ram down his throat and into his stomach. Some glowed brightly for some odd reason unknown to Azazel { it was because of peculiar little crow... wink wink } and he would sometimes stop to look. A few were spectacular, bright and beautiful... where others just, eh. One thing that did interest him was the fortune that Giggle had told earlier. War... violence... a decision... What could it all mean. The Bone King hopped to a pile of bones, nosing through them and finding his favorite cat skull, putting it on and smiling. He loved the cat skull dearly. Looking around... he noticed that... a lot of bones were chewed up and slimy. Why? "Speech" RE: { task } PROLOGUE - Kerberos - Jul 06 2015 CARNIVORE ;; CARNIVORE . . .
. . . won't you come digest me? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. Kerberos was HUNGRY, okay?! He was allowed to eat bones too, Giggle had said so. She just didn't want him eating her bones from her pile, and he did his best to leave her alone. It was just... Well. Sometimes Kerberos got too hungry and had to come back "home" to get a snack in before he got the urge to eat some smart gembound that could teach him something. He was just soooo hungry. It was impossible. He laid among the bones, his off white coat blending into the canvas of ivory treasure, his red eyes scanning the territory of Canis. He could see a strange orange thing, not quite made of fur. It was a bird, he thought. Birds were eatable, weren't they? He knew he should pounce before it had the chance to talk and then convince him not to eat him. He could almost hear the bird now, Oh, don't eat me, I'm just feathers and bones! but he could imagine the tasty, scaly bird legs making a delicious, wonderful snack. He wanted to chew on them for at least an hour. So, Kerberos did the only sensible thing, and did his best to sneak up on the big feathery birb thing. RE: { task } PROLOGUE - Giggle - Jul 06 2015 Giggle had spotted the hound only moments before, and damn, she did not want to make her presence known. She had no idea if he knew she was there; hell, she'd only found him when checking on the spores she'd planted on the three-headed-pup some days before. She'd known he was coming to Canis, but it had still taken some searching to find him. Now she prowled along behind. She'd kept her own distance, and she still did, so that a short clatter of bone or the like wouldn't (hopefully) alert him to her presence. Ahead, she could see Aza'zel. Was Kerberos hunting him...? Was he going to say hello? So Giggle crept up as close as she could get while still calling it a safe distance. Not interfering--not yet--nor even making her presence known. Just... there, a couple dozen yards behind the dog, lurking. Roll the bones. RE: { task } PROLOGUE - Azazel (Original) - Jul 07 2015 ![]() Azazel still yet prowled amongst the bones, still curious as to why some of them were so... slimy. Reluctantly, he poked one, foot landing right into a huge dent that had become a cesspool for slobber of some sort. The Bone King had been absent for some time, so he couldn't possibly know what had chewed on them... or what happened to them at the very least. Or maybe he could. Makyna had perhaps imprinted on him, and he had learned a spell of a completely different element, of the Arcane. Hindsight. As soon as the vision began, Azazel stiffened and focused solely on that memory of the bones. Wetness and slobberiness... a strange three-headed white dog was LOUDLY chomping down on the bone, causing The Bone King to twitch every few moments. That was it, and the bird shook his head, indignant. Whirling around and about to take flight... he was face to face with the same three-headed fluff monster in his vision. Man, it was a lot bigger than it seemed. Backpedalling, the bird squeaked quietly, table and code © chelsea of ORIGIN RE: { task } PROLOGUE - Kerberos - Jul 07 2015 CARNIVORE ;; CARNIVORE . . .
. . . won't you come digest me? Kerberos wasn't the most stealthy thing. He pawed over bones, kicking them and cracking them like walking through fragile leaves in the fall. He was also panting, his slobber dribbling behind him like a snail trail. His snake tail twisted and wreathed, wiggling behind his massive white frame. He was about to pounce when the bird whirled around and spotted him, flapping away. The bird squawked a hello and the dog with his teeth bared paused. Suddenly, he let out a huge, whiny baby of a ... Well, at least Aza'zel wasn't going to get eaten today... RE: { task } PROLOGUE - Giggle - Jul 07 2015 Giggle crept closer before slowly sitting down, eyeing Aza'zel and trying to make solemn eye contact before turning her gaze, set with forced calm, on Kerberos. "Hello, Kerberos," she said calmly, voice just loud enough to hear over his tantrum of flinging bones and whines. "You're doing well, not eating him. There's rats over by the wall, if you need food. What brings you back to Canis...?" Then the hyena slowly looked back to Aza'zel, trying to tell him with her eyes that the situation was delicate, at best, her body carefully still and her gaze set and serious, despite the calm tone. Hopefully he wouldn't get distracted, instead, by the new (and rather serious-looking) scabbing wounds gashed over her face and only barely sparing her eyes. Roll the bones. RE: { task } PROLOGUE - Krakarak - Jul 07 2015 During his usual rounds throughout Origin he managed to find something very interesting. Well, besides those hilarious snowmen he went to Monoceros and there was a large skull of some creature... an elephant? Was that right? Whatever, in any case it was a skull and all skulls and bones and the like belonged in Canis! Not only was it a bone of epic proprotions but it also had a gem set into it! A large one! On that principal alone he needed to get this thing! Of course, he couldn't lift it alone and if he was correct another group lived here. No matter. He was on Aza'zel's side and there was no one that could bring his friend down! With all the information taken in he made a beeline back to Canis. However, he was probably heard far before he showed up because of his loud cawing. "KRAK KRAK KRAK!" He screamed as he neared Canis. "AZZA AZZA! KRAK! AZZA!" He screeched as the bones came into view. Wow... it seemed like all of Bonebound was assembled, or most of them. No matter! Everyone needed to hear this! "KRAK KRAK! KRAKARAK! NEWS NEWS!" He screeched and screamed and crowed as he flew to the top of Canis and made circles above everyone's head. Whatever they were doing, whatever it was with that silly three-headed dog... whatsisface, and that Giggly bone-eater that he rather liked because of her free food, and of course his lovely Az'azel... They all needed to hear this! Krakarak didn't know the meaning of delicate situation and didn't lower his tone for anyone. "BONEBOUND! KRAKARAK FOUND A BEAUTIFUL SKULL IN MONOCEROS! IT IS THE LARGEST SKULL KRAKARAK HAS EVER SEEN WITH A BEAUTIFUL GEM SET IN ITS CROWN! KRAK KRAK! WE MUST TAKE!" After his news was delivered he landed next to Aza'zel and tucked himself almost completely into his side. "We take? Must be careful... Merrymen live there." He looked up at Aza'zel with pleading eyes. He really wanted that skull... not because it was a skull but because of that gem. ____ words: 347 tagged: BoneBound ooc: --- muse: 6/10 "Talking" Thinking RE: { task } PROLOGUE - Bones - Jul 08 2015 The pup trotted along with his ears plastered to the sides of his face. He had followed a horrifically loud noise, or rather several of them, that caused his ears to ring. He usually wouldn't - he followed a strict policy of 'don't go near what you don't know,' but he did know something; a familiar scent of rot and bones. When he arrived he stopped, looked at each gembound in turn, then slowly creeped up towards Giggle, sitting half-behind, half-next to her with an inwards sigh. He didn't seem too alarmed by the presence of a three-headed dog nearby - though he definitely kept a distance. He barely even looked at the birds. "Moooom," he muttered, looking towards Giggle. "My ears hurt." ((short 'cause i'm literally about to leave oh god)) RE: { task } PROLOGUE - Azazel (Original) - Jul 12 2015 ![]() For a moment, he was very astounded. For one thing, the dog had three heads, and they all spoke at once... And on the other hand it was absolutely massive! It behaved just like a puppy, and suddenly the Bone King was quite afraid of how big the three-headed dog would grow to be. His little temper tantrum was kind of funny, and he seemed to be named Kerberos... judging by what Giggle said. table and code © chelsea of ORIGIN RE: { task } PROLOGUE - Kerberos - Jul 13 2015 CARNIVORE ;; CARNIVORE . . .
. . . won't you come digest me? Giggle's voice caught the attention of the whiny baby and he whirled around, heads tilting all to the left. Speaking of rats, there was a tiny feathery one with a loud, loud voice. Kerberos found himself wanting to kill the thing, although perhaps not eat it. The black feathered rat seemed upsetting enough that it might be able to go off like an alarm in his tummy and really mess up his indigestion. Instead, he simply narrowed his eyes at it and tried to push it away. His paw glowed a faint, dark crismon as a burst of energy was expelled from the white pup towards Krakrak, and he huffed. He was getting so much better at his magic! Then his attention was turned frankly towards the tasty, big bird who was talking about... Bones? Bones for them? |
