Looking for children - Mevoh - Jul 04 2020

Mevoh would have never thought she would want any young gembounds of her own. But, she surprised herself now. She decided it wouldn't be too bad to make some children of her own. Mevoh found a stone and decided to look for more. She had no clue what children would come out of this, but, she was going for it anyway. Mevoh hoped she would at least bring about some well looking children into these caves. But when it came to magic, there was no promises.

Mevoh was still looking for stones. She found another one. Why did she decide to look for stones specifically in Orion? Well, Orion seemed like a dignified place to be. So if the place was dignified, the life filled stones had to be as well. Or at least she hoped. Mevoh kept her two life filled stones with her as she kept looking. So far so good. Mevoh just hoped that whatever stones she gave life to looked decent and not, well, horrible.

Mevoh was still looking for life filled stones. She was doing so good. She was happy to have chosen Orion to look for stones. She didn't have to waste any time looking for stones. It seemed like a straightforward task to look for stones in Orion. Mevoh was getting a good collection of life filled stones in her talons. She kept on looking for stones. Mevoh could tell that looking for stones was easy in Orion, for her at least. Mevoh decided to keep looking for more.

Mevoh was still on the hunt for more stones. She didn't find anything this time around. Oh well. She would not give up. Mevoh had a keen sense of eyesight so finding stones was a easy task to fulfill. Mevoh kept on looking for stones despite not finding any this time.

Mevoh was still looking. She would let nothing deter her from finding stones. She found another stone. Mevoh decided to look for more stones. The bird of prey was happy that finding stones was not at all a problem for her.

Mevoh kept looking for stones. She found another one. After obtaining enough stones, she decided to stop there. Mevoh put her stones in a pile and looked over them proudly. She wondered what they used to look like. But the bird had no clue on finding out. Mevoh simply could only imagine who these stones used to belong to.

Mevoh had unearthed four Fledgling-level gemstones, and a single Pupil-level stone.

Of the Fledgling stones, one was a glittering yellow Chrysoberyl, leaning toward green. A second was a fiery Topaz. A third was a shining, dull-colored red-orange Jasper gemstone, reminiscent of fresh clay in hue. The fourth and last was a pale, chalky, cloudy Blue Quartz.

The Pupil-level stone was a rich, dark, mottled blue Azurite gemstone, gleaming in Orion's quartz-light.

Mevoh had made her decision on which stones she would give life to. The first would be a Blue Quartz. She put her talon on the stone, and felt her life force flooding through the stone. Mevoh then gently removed her talons from the stone and back on to the floor. She looked up at the ceiling as gems glistened above then back at the pile of gems. Which gem should she choose to give life to next?

RE: Looking for children - Mevoh - Jul 04 2020

The next stone she chose to give life to was a Azurite gemstone. She was to tired to do so. But at least she gave life to at least one stone. She nudged the Blue Quartz gemstone close to her and surrounded it with her warmth. She then fell asleep next to it, more tired then she ever had been.

The cloudy Blue Quartz was, as it turned out, once a hybrid between a Domestic Horse of heavy draft type, and a Bighorn Sheep.

The creature was a rich seal brown (dark, rich black-brown, with paler brown muzzle and undersides, and black legs), and overall the height of a draft horse, nearly six feet tall at the shoulder. Yet in build, it was light and muscled, like a Bighorn. Its head was like a Bighorn, with sheeplike dentition, skull shape and nostrils, but horse-like, rich brown eyes. A muscled, upright neck was clearly of Bighorn origin, though it had no horns, and its legs were thick and sturdy draft horse limbs. It had the long, black mane and tail of a horse, and cloven Bighorn hooves adept at gripping treacherous surfaces, though its horse-like legs made it a less-skilled climber than a sheep.
