Something brittle had broken, cracked, and fragmented all over the floor.
Another shriek.
"AAAAAAH--"
Below all the screeching, the sounds of some kind of frantic pacing could be heard along the West Wall. For those with a diligent ear, the direction from whence the flip flop flip of foot against floor came from would sound rather... nonsensical. Frenzied. Searching.
For, um, what?
It didn't know why it was here, but here it was anyways.
The shattered diamond on the ground had managed, perhaps by chance or by the hand of some sick and twisted fate, to arrange itself into a little rose... a teacup sized rose.
'Twas fitting for the little teapot that ran around and screamed. It wouldn't keep screaming for long though-- that was made evident by how its screams were getting thinner. It was already running out of air.
Oh, but don't worry for it! This one isn't meant to die. Yet.
