Yew was planted next to the rather large mushroom that was located in Eridanus. She didn't quite understand the large shroom, but it was protection enough from whatever could fall from the sky - more or less if it rained again. Not too long ago the cave dripped with rain and her feathers got wet, it took ages for them to dry again and Yew was not going to take any chances.
And maybe resting there alone gave her time to think about things.
Winning the Obstacle Course was well... Something. She had wanted to prove herself with that and she had, in a way. A win meant she was the best, right? It felt good when she won, but that feeling didn't extend to now. Eridanus held many memories for the hybrid, good, bad. Mostly bad. But she stuck around to stay with Kingdom of Eridanus. She wondered if she could ever make them proud.
Shaking the thoughts from her head, Yew moved away from the mushroom to walk on her spindly legs.
