predator - Deli - Sep 07 2020 Deli
Despite how fun it was running around making all sorts of colored dyes and thinking of the best way to mess with everyone in sight, Deli still had to remember that they'd been given a job that they very much would like to complete. After all, the reward was going to make everything so much easier and so much more fun. Ah, they could imagine it now, taking the form of some terrifying creature that would scare the ever loving shit out of the orthoclase. Yeah, they wanted to see that fucker quivering. Polaris always seemed like a good place to find people - Deli ran into others all the time around here. It would be safer then going directly to a group's territory and trying to steal someone with everyone around, although that ran the risk that they grabbed a loner. Well, they could always keep grabbing people until they found someone that would work. Crouched behind a rock, they decided to start their investigation with a bit of stealth. Now that they knew this very useful little spell, it would do them a lot of good when it came to troublemaking. Their fur rippled under the magic and, although they'd intended to make it reflect light, it instead just made them a whole lot brighter and more obvious, a fact that they barely noticed, assuming that the spell had worked. They crept out of their hiding place, as if they were invisible, nose up in the air as they searched for any nearby bystanders. RE: predator - Forgraves - Sep 07 2020 Action. Luckily (atleast for deli), Forgraves had been sitting all by himself, totally oblivious, playing with some rocks as banshy was sleeping somewhere by a rock. Azzy had gone to do something, hunting if he remembered right, and had left the two there to wait. and with all the bright colors already in the room, with all the snow and such, it was hard to differentiate any bright thing from any other, so he hardly bothered. He yawned. he had been trying to use the rocks to scratch out some vague pictures of stuff, but they werent very good for makeshift chalk, so it was for naught. however, he was still unassuming as ever. @Deli RE: predator - Deli - Sep 07 2020 Deli
Deli spotted them as they got close, the white sticking out against the dark stone of Polaris. It was around this time that they noticed that their fur was...not reflecting like it should. Well...they'd have to try a different tactic then. They began to creep forward, coming up to Forgraves from behind. Once they got a little closer, they reached out with their magic, feeling for the blood that ran through the fox's veins, for the muscles and nerves that made their body move and grabbed it firmly, holding them down. They didn't...quite get everything, Forgraves could probably move his back legs, but deli made sure to hold their neck and chest in place so he couldn't turn around to look. Concentrating hard, they approached faster now, releasing the fox's jaw so he could speak. RE: predator - Forgraves - Sep 07 2020 Action. He had just about reached for another rock when he realized he suddenly couldnt move. he could barely breathe, his chest and neck were so stiff and were caught mid-breath, barely able to wheeze air in and out, eyes flashing around in fear, unable to turn around. he flinched hard at the voice, tail lashing, back legs kicking at the ground pathetically. he hesitated hard on responding, half because he could barely breathe and the other half because he was fucking terrified. this had to be magic too, right? he could almost feel it, this wasn't right. what would they do if he didn't answer? would they hurt banshy too? @Deli RE: predator - Deli - Sep 07 2020 Deli
Deli smiled when Forgraves started to fight, no humor twinkling in their eyes this time, especially when the fox didn't give them the answer they wanted. Obviously they didn't understand...or maybe they were a loner? But...shit if they were calling to someone, then they needed to get this done fast or they'd be dealing with two little fools instead of one. They grabbed harder with their magic, clamping the fox's mouth shut about halfway into his cry. RE: predator - Forgraves - Sep 07 2020 Action. panic welled up in his chest, close to tears as his mouth was painfully shut without warning mid-cry. he was wheezing loudly still kicking and trying to get away. he almost paused. group? what the hell did this guy want with the eden? were they in danger?! no way was he gonna tell this lunatic anything! he just wanted to go home! as soon as he was allowed to talk again he gasped for air, @Deli RE: predator - Deli - Sep 07 2020 Deli
Deli sighed, eyes narrowing. They crouched down behind Forgraves arms resting on their legs. Okay, they needed to get out of here. A small flick of their magic and Deli was forcing Forgraves to their feet, commanding them to begin walking through Polaris, towards the tunnel that would lead them towards Orion. Maybe they could convince this guy that Seven had a claim on their friend. RE: predator - Azrael - Sep 07 2020 He'd heard it. From out where he was hunting, he hard the start of a yelp, the voice of Forgraves in trouble. He hadn't called out his name, not all the way, but Azrael heard it. He heard the fox and, without hesitation, he dropped the hunt and turned, wings flaring open and propelling himself forward. Panic and rage were boiling in his stomach. Who was hurting him? Why was he crying for help? RE: predator - Forgraves - Sep 07 2020 Action. he was panicking, he was moving and he wasn't doing it himself and he wanted to fucking. go. home. he was crying now, whatever the stupid animal wanted from him couldn't be good and he wasn't willing to find out any time soon, trying his hardest to break free but he was so terrified nothing happened, his hold still too strong, close to straight up passing out, but then.... when he heard azzy roar his heart nearly broke in sheer relief, eyes flicking up, trying to call out for him, @Deli RE: predator - Deli - Sep 07 2020 Deli
The roar caught Deli way off guard and they jumped - literally - immediately releasing the hold on Forgraves as they turned around to face whoever had come for them. At first, they had thought that their opponent was gonna be some other relatively weak creature, maybe another fox or something. They certainly weren't expecting a literal monster to come charging straight at them. Their smile dropped, as did their ears, as they looked at their opponent charging straight towards them. Letting out a bark of terror, they quickly through out their hands, puffs of fungus appearing in their palms, which exploded on their command, bright, colorful spores emitting in a cloud towards Azrael as they backed up. They hoped that, whatever he saw, it was terrifying enough to get him to back down or at least give them a change to escape. |
