Pumpkin had been contemplating.
now, he had left his old family. and he had stolen a gem.
and he wanted to revive it.
it shouldve felt alot more serious, but it didnt. it felt like anything else. if anything he felt sorry for the poor gem. if this went wrong, well.. theres always more stones.
he had flown to a part of eridanus, crawling into one of the holes in the walls and placing the tiny pearl down.
taking a deep breath, he touched it again, trying to channel the little magic he had.
at first, he was worried he did it wrong. but when he looked down, he smiled, faintly. it worked. he saw his magic pulsing through the tiny stone and he felt pride. whether he raised it or not, this was good. more life was good. and maybe one day, if he didn't, they'd meet again.
he flew off, satisfied with his work. he'd come back later.
