Paws raced through Eridanus, the soft plush moss cushioning her paws so it sounded like dull thuds as she hurried on her way. Several gems were gathered in her jowls, carrying them towards The Eyes. A tail languidly moved behind her, almost as if it were wagging in sync with her other movements. As heterochromia eyes caught site of the crystalline pools, Arkrael grinned over her mouthful of gems. She slowed her pace, ending in a trot towards the edge of the pool. She trailed along it, heading further around it towards a certain spot she had always enjoyed laying at. Upon reaching it she spat out all the gems, watching them tumble to the ground now covered in her saliva, but still gleaming in their own beauty. There were coloring of amber and seraphinite.

A grin once again caught her features as she stepped back again. She was here to do one thing. To craft Vazi something to where he could properly wear the stone. Be it on his horn, or his neck, Arkrael was unsure where he would want to wear it, but she was definitely making it for him. Or...at least attempting. She shook her thoughts away and focused, zoning in on the stones before her. The vibrations in her stone soothed a smile onto her features and she watched as the gems instantly compressed together. Audit's pricked up as she watched them shape and take form. A thin chain of combined gems linked together, attaching itself to the back of the stone she had previously made for Vazi.

It wasn't as brilliant as she thought it would be, but it was good. She liked it. She moved forward and nudged her nose against it to see how easily it would move. The gems seemed to chime as they moved against the other and she was pleased at the flexibility of it. gently she slid her nose into the loop of the thin links and lifted up the now threaded gems. It was perfect. She hoped Vazi liked it. Where was that buck anyway? Eyes shifted around, searching for the stag wondering just where he had gotten himself to. He had said he would meet here hear. Well, no matter. She would call and let him know she was here waiting. The long, beautiful chords of a lovely voice rose all through Eridanus as Arkrael tipped her nose up and howled for the one she now waited for. Her song rang out, loud and true, notes dipping and peaking in it's serene vocals. The song clipped short and Arkrael lowered her head, ears twitching as if she were listening for a response in return. However, she knew she would never receive one. There was only one deer that knew how to howl like her and she was not around at the moment.

It had been a little while since he'd last seen Arkrael. Even thinking about her made his stomach churn and ears warm in blush. She was so lovely and so kind and so sweet and so caring and everything! Then that kiss they'd shared. Not the one from the game but the other one, the one he'd initiated. That one was lovely and he wished for more times like that. However, before he met up with her he needed to find something. Something that would be perfect for a perfect gal like Arkrael. But what? He didn't want to find a stone or a gem. He wanted something special!

As he tread the path to Eridanus he cast around. Trying to find something for Arkrael, he searched high and low but so far could find nothing! He looked and looked and by the minute he grew more and more exasperated. There had to be something! His time ran out when he heard the howl on the still cave air. That was no doubt Arkrael, signalling that she was ready for him to come. The young stag couldn't howl so he answered in the only way he knew how. He had grown some and with his aging his voice had grown deeper. That fawn bleat he had once possessed was changed into a deep below, one of a strong young stag. He opened his mouth and let this bellow out now, calling to Arkrael and letting her know he was coming.

With a sigh he trotted forward and at the last moment before the wolf came into view he managed to snatch up some green, blue, and yellow flowers that were blooming in the cave. He wanted something better but he couldn't seem to find anything so perhaps he could tuck some of these into Arkrael's fur? Just until he found something better. When she came into view Vazi rushed forward and touched his nose gently to hers, he lifted the flowers proudly so that Arkrael could see them better. "I found these for you. I thought they were pretty just like you... Only you are far more beautiful than any flower." Oh, was what he was saying alright? He hoped he wasn't making a fool of himself again.

A soft hum escaped the nearly full grown wolf as she dipped down towards the pools of water and lapped up a quick drink. She had heard Vazi's stag call in return to her howl and she knew he would be there shortly. When her thirst was quenched Arkrael drew away from the water. Her tongue slopped over her muzzle, cleaning the water from her fur and turned her bi-colored eyes to the scenery around. A smile curled the edges of her features as she plopped back on her haunches. She still to this day absolutely adored the look of Eridanus.

Her thoughts didn't trail off for long when the sound of hooves moving closer quickly caught her attention. She swung her head around and grinned as Vazi came into view and right over to her. Her tail quickly started wagging as the stag bumped his nose against hers. Soon flowers were presented to her and her smile seemed to grow, reaching her eyes and warming them entirely. Gently she sniffed at the flowers her showed her all the while listening to him. The last bit of his words sent her face ablaze and ears to warm up significantly. She nearly scoffed, but held her tongue in check and merely moved closer to him. Tentatively she gave a gentle lick to his cheek. "They're lovely, Thank you" She nuzzled into his fur, breathing in the scent the solely belonged to him.

She only pulled away when she quickly remembered the chain she had crafted for him. "Hold on! I got you something!" She nearly yipped with her excitement as she turned and ran over to where she had safely tucked away his gem. Grasping it up in her teeth, Arkrael quickly padded back over to Vazi. "Look, now you can wear it," She positively beamed as she showed him his beautiful gem that was now fused with a small, thin chain. Once she was satisfied he had seen it, she moved closer and literally moved to stand on her back paws as her front paws reached out and grasped hold of Vazi's face she that she may pull his head down just a bit.

Quickly she set to work to getting the gem linked stone wrapped safely around a certain part of his antler. Once she was sure it was secure Arkrael dropped back down to all four paws, releasing Vazi's face in the process. Her grin was broad and happy as her tail mimicked the emotion she was feeling. "There, now you won't have to carry it all over the place," She grinned and nudged up against Vazi playfully.

Vazi smiled, heat rushing to his cheeks and ears as she licked him. He lowered his head to return the lick before he gently deposited the flowers on the ground. "I am glad that you like them." Relieved, more like. He wasn't an especially good gem finder and with just hooves he was limited in all that he could do. It made him feel bad that she had gotten him something but he couldn't do anything for her.

His tail raised and twitched excitedly when he she said she had gotten something for him. The gem at his chest turned orange as he waited and then finally was rewarded with the young she-wolf bringing him the pretty gem from before. "Oh, Arkrael... Thank-you so much!" Now he could wear it all over the caves and be reminded of his love. He leaned down so the wolf would have a slightly easier time fastening it to one of his tines.

"This is perfect." He looked upwards but he could not see it. That did not matter. He could feel its weight and be comforted by it. He looked down at Arkrael then, his owl tail mimicking hers. Still... What would he get her? Flowers weren't enough... He needed something.

Well, he didn't know what that something was yet but he would eventually. For now he simply lowered his head and picked up one of the flowers, a green one to match her eye, this he then knotted into the fur in front of her left ear. "There, now we can almost match!" He said with a small laugh. He tilted his young antlers towards the pools of water where he then walked over to.

He stood there for a moment, looking into the water as he tilted his head this way and that to see the stone tied to his antler. He loved it so much! It showed how happy he was with the smile on his face and the joy flickering in his steel gray eyes and shining orange gemstone. "Um... Ark? Can I ask you something?" It was something that had buzzed in his mind for a while but now he wanted to bring it up.

A smile remained constant upon her features as she watched the buck. Her heart seemed to skip a beat, or two, when he leaned closer and set a flower upon her ear. Her tail wagged behind her happily before she followed his gaze towards the pools. She turned the way she was standing and trotted after him. Her side bumped and slid up along his as she watched him study his gem in the water's reflection. She couldn't even begin to describe how happy she was standing next to him. A soft rumbling vibrated in her chest as her thoughts quickly spiraled out of grasp and she crouched down to get a quick drink from the pools.

Audits flicked as Vazi's voice rose, quickly drawing her attention and Arkrael rose from the water and cleaned the left over drops from her chops. "Of course you can," She murmured as she sunk down to sit upon her haunches, "What is it?"

Vazi took his eyes from his reflection in the pool to look at the image of the wolf next to him. "Well... I was wondeirng." He looked from her image to the actual wolf next to him. "You are usually by yourself unless you are with me so... What if you joined with my herd? Well, it is not really much of a herd just me and my brother. But you could be a part of it if you want!" His tail raised as he posed the question. It would be lovely to have her around all the time. He could look at her beautiful face every time he woke up and he'd have her presence around all of the time. He couldn't imagine anything better. "What do you say?" He reached his muzzle over to bump it playfully against Arkrael's shoulder. "Wyn loves you and so do I." Love? Oh... Was... Was that the first time he'd said that?

He could feel heat in his ears as he leaned back up and waited on her reaction. He could feel every emotion in his body buzzing and his adrenaline rushing.

Audits twitched as she listened to Vazi speak. Be apart of his herd? It was an interesting idea as she shifted to look towards him once again. The eager excitement in his eyes made her laugh a bit and she knew her decision would be one to cause him joy. True she was always alone as he said when he was not around, but that had not really ever bothered her. She traveled and explored without being tied down. Albeit Eridanus would forever be her home and she would always look after it's care, but even that did not stop her from going and visiting the other places within the caves. She had never really felt lonely, or if she did she didn't recognize it in the least.

'Wyn loves you and so do I.'

The words pulled her from her thoughts instantly and her heterochromia eyes jumped up to Vazi's nigh instantly. It was only a matter of seconds before her heartbeat started racing again and she felt the subtle sign of heat warming her face and ears. She couldn't recall ever hearing that word out of him. "I uh..." SHe tried to speak but the butterflies in her stomach seemed to be a little more distracting and she found herself giving a small nervous grin. It took a moment to regain herself as she watched him pull back. She instantly leaned after him and nuzzled her nose through the fur on his neck, her tail brushing along the ground quickly. "Of course I will and I....I love you...and wynry, also," Audits splayed out to the side nervously, but a smile reached her eyes as she shifted closer and simply buried her face against Vazi.

Oh dear, oh dear, why was he always saying embarrassing things? It was like he couldn't control his mouth around her. "I'm sorry... I shouldn't have..." No. He couldn't take it back. He did love her! But... he shouldn't have said it so soon. He was so foolish and stupid and idiotic and... and... Still, he looked evenly at her and attempted to keep the smile on his face even though his cheeks and ears were burning. "Oh! Really? I mean! Yeah! I mean... Lovely, it will be great to have you in the herd!" He gave a small but happy little laugh.

Now that that was settled. He nuzzled the top of her head before a cheeky grin showed on his face. He attempted to use his powers to force the water up from the pools of water but for some reason the water refused to obey his commands, even a little. Hmph. He supposed he would have to do this the old fashioned way. "Hey! Hey, Ark! Do you see that?" He pointed suddenly with his nose to the water as if he could see something there.

Arkrael grinned as Vazi nuzzled the top of her head. Though it wasn't long before his attention was pulled away and he was off looking into the water. Audit's perked as she slowly trailed up beside him and took a look to see what he was trying to point at. Slowly she lowered her head closer to the water, attempting to find whatever it was that had grabbed her love's attention. "What am I looking for, Vazi?" Her brows scrunched up as she desperately looked all around, trying to see just what the book. She cast Vazi a small glance from the side of her eye before turning her gaze to the water. Maybe she just wasn't seeing it because she wasn't a water elemental like he was. Either way she was sure he would tell her the longer she stood there looking for something she couldn't find.

The wolf began to peer into the water, searching for whatever had caught the buck's interest. The deer focused on his inner magic once more while the wolf was studying the little pool. He could feel a surge of magic within himself and felt his heart lift with joy. It was working! It was working! A mischievous glance would be all the warning Arkrael received before the stag surged the water upwards--

And promptly splashed himself with a huge wage which knocked him into the water. "Wah!" He cried before falling into the water. He kicked his legs furiously and rose to the surface. Well, that plan certainly backfired.

He manged to crawl out of the water and for a moment just stood there, looking distinctly uncomfortable. Then, that mischievous glint was back in his eyes as he walked over to Arkrael and shook the water from his pelt off on her. Not the original plan but it worked! He gave a laugh and a little playful headbutt before charging off towards the trees. Hopefully Arkrael wouldn't be offended... He just wanted to have a little fun!
