and have it build a home - Orthoclase-Alpha - Oct 12 2020

backdated to be a few days after overseer with no name
which is backdated to a few days after the chaos forge's formation

It had not been too hard to get the labradorite to come along for its training session. The Overseer led it into the idyllic meadow that was Pegasus with a rundown of tasks that essentially boiled down to "we're going to the river."

Orthoclase-Alpha moved towards it at an evenly measured pace—only after slowing down to make sure it wasn't speed-walking to the destination. Its spawn might be nearly grown, but it did not have the length of limbs to move that fast without half-sprinting. For once, the kaiju was being somewhat considerate. Burning-green eyes kept the oilslicked beast in its periphery.

Alpha turned on it only once they'd arrived at the river's edge. It took quick stock of the creature, then dispensed the words it'd been rehearsing for the majority of the trip: "What do you know about the water in the Caves?" It let out some sort of growling Theremin noise and gestured vaguely with a half-raised claw, "about... where it goes? Leads?"

The idea of going to the river certainly had it in a good mood, combating the anxiety the idea of training- more, the idea of potentially failing at that training- might bring.

It trotted along behind Alpha at an even pace, it's six eyes flitting around to track movement- the flight of a bird, or the retreat of a rabbit. However, it's gaze would always quickly return to the Orthoclase.

It paused at the Overseer's question, mentally combing through what it'd seen during the trip to Draco. Suddenly, it felt as though it'd never seen even a puddle of water in it's entire life. "There's many rivers throughout the caves. They all connect underground. Useful for traveling, if you can breath underwater." It started basic- too basic? Should it had started with something else? Regardless, it continued. "I know this one," It gestured at the river in front of them "leads to Cepheus. It then branches off- one branch going towards Ursa, and the other going underground. The other rivers I'm unsure- I haven't exactly gotten the chance to explore." It shuffled nervously, hoping it's answer was good enough.
