[Fall Festival] Tag Game / Signup! - Avi - Oct 27 2020
Ok so an idea I've been floating around is a tag game during the Halloween festival!
The idea works like this: there's a large clearing outside of the main booth area in Polaris. A few kids will start playing a game where one of them is "it" and they have to chase and touch someone else to make them "it". There won't be any IC awards or anything, it'll just be a fun #DomesticPunk sport for the kids (and kids at heart) to enjoy.
Characters can either sign up by replying to this thread or posting IC interacting with the field. Once enough people are gathered one of them would randomly be declared it; they'll then have to roll successfully to tag someone else (tag them at the bottom of your posts too!), who will tag someone else, and so on. If they fail the "victim" can roll to escape, and if they get away successfully the it-person would have to find someone else. Anyone who gets injured, acts aggressively or simply wishes not to be it can have the role safely transferred to someone else.
And that's the game! Of course given its structure there wouldn't be a posting order and posts can be pretty short since all you're doing is running around. In fact, if you aren't chasing/being chased or interacting with them somehow there's no obligation to post at all! They can just vibe in the field until someone comes charging at them.
