Evolution - Niru - Jul 19 2015 weeping shades of indigo
Movements of haphazard, almost drunken aspects took over, blackness about the abstract surroundings, as lids were shut in relaxation. Sprouting, birthing, evolved into something not so easily overwhelmed - yet still rather vulnerable. Pitch, black, the soft whir of bubbling brooks. The musky stench, hanging thick upon the air, clinging to my lungs - hot, humid, labored breathing. Soon, dulled lenses were exposed to the world, where the universe presented itself to me. Everywhere I looked, things sprouted from the base up. The base..moist and sticky. They lived in it. Little jowls parted, nostrils expanded, a small mew, mew, escaped my throat, drowning within the serenity of the area around me. Paws collected beneath me, yet the advance was wobbly. Joints buckled, and my face mushed into the sticky base- smearing dark particles all over my cheek and nose, crawling up toward my forehead and corresponding ear. I recomposed myself, shook the debris from me, and attempted the trek again. shed without reason Paw, paw, paw, paw, slam! again, my face in the moist base. It smelled, the bottom did, something I couldn't pin point. It was thick, like the musky air. My journey was a tough one, regularly tripping up either over myself or something in the base. Soon, I stepped onto ground which was not so heavily weeded. And it traveled along, like a passage way beckoning me. I followed it, this new journey so much easier to follow. My falls were less frequent, and soon I came upon clear liquid which trickled along. I stopped just before touching it, paws now brown and black from traveling, coloring over the golden hue my legs were. I extended a paw into the substance, and it consumed my limb. Gingerly passing over it, around it, caressing me softly. Soon, I found myself in the water entirely, standing as the water reached up to my elbows, tickling the underside of my belly. Jowls parted again, as jaded eyes scanned the area, mew, mew, calling into the thick distance. "spoken words." @all welcome

RE: Evolution - Wynry - Jul 19 2015
Wynry loved being here with his deer brother. He had never been happier, his body growing into a great, strong shape of a fully grown adult. He was plump-- coat thick with wool-- and full on the tasty foliage of the world of green that he claimed as his home. With Vazi, there was nothing to worry about. The water was plentiful, the food even more so, and everything was perfect. It was paradise. So when the young sheep found a familiar animal among one of his favorite creeks, he paused and did a double take. Wasn't Usui so much bigger, covered in shiny things? Oh! It must have been another lion, he realized after a short moment. |==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==|==| RE: Evolution - Niru - Jul 19 2015 weeping shades of indigo
It came in bounds, it came in leaps, it ceased before me and as the monstrous fluff ball came bleating at me, I scurried out of the creek the way I'd come. Quick, yet haphazard as my motor controls still lacked, I pivoted and crouched low, belly laying upon the mire. Black backed ears swiveled and pinned against minuscule cerebrum, as jaded lenses stared wildly at this Wynry creature. A small hiss-like sound expelled from peeled lips and disclosed baby bridgework. Small tassel lashed instinctively as the rather rambunctious monster seemed overly happy. Soon after, a small growl like grumble escaped me, though it sounded more like a dying bird. shed without reason "away! Away..wynry?!" I attempted to speak his name, the appellation delivering in uncertainty as brows knitted above dulled lenses when the name was said aloud. Small trembles spasmed throughout the fibrous, fresh sinew, signaling involuntarily my bewilderment. Even so, I remained stationary.@all welcome

RE: Evolution - Wynry - Jul 19 2015
The baby hissed at him-- angry or at the very least upset-- and so the big puffy ball of white wool stopped on his stepping stones, shivering as the cold licked at his black legs. He tilted his head as the cub flopped on to the black shore of the stream, the life-giving soil turning his bright tawny fur muddy and dark. The cub spoke, in tiny mewls, demanding in his fright that the sheep leave him alone. ... Now, Wynry wasn't usually seen as intimidating, but he was a bit overbearing at times and, while no one usually called him out on it.. He knew better than to do something another gembound didn't want him doing. So instead, the sheep stood on the stepping stones and lowered his head, droplets of tiny waves splashing on his chin. With a deep breath, he did his best to summon his magic, hoping that speaking through soft, cautious whispers from far away would make the lion feel a bit better about things. His words carried like the rustling of leaves on the wind, over to the cub's ears, with self assured ease. With an exhale, he asked the cub, RE: Evolution - Niru - Jul 20 2015 weeping shades of indigo
this fluffy ball reassured me that all was alright, and even though his demeanor did not outright show me he was dangerous, i was suspicious. but when the whisper came, i felt more at ease. tensed body posture then relaxed, ears swiveling forth as tiny skull raised a bit. it asked me of my name, this wynry did. my name? shed without reason "n-n-" small grunts escaped, unable to properly put syllables and an actual word together. i shook my head, jaded lenses seemed to focus in on my nose."niii-" i grimaced now, unsure where my mouth was even going with this. my name?"niru!" it came out in a burst, minuscule voice mewing the name out loud, finally proud of myself. tassel gave a flick as i rose to a sitting position, tiny limbs propping up my newly formed skeleton without much effort, my skills honing in every few moments of experience."is that my name?" words formed, mimicking the fluffy's mouth formation and sounds. would wynry know? i looked at him curiously.@all welcome

RE: Evolution - Wynry - Jul 21 2015 He wondered what else to tell the lion. There wasn't a lot to tell, except that he was quite glad to meet another lion. RE: Evolution - Niru - Jul 22 2015 weeping shades of indigo
the critter spoke to me in whispers more, then when he lost it, he spoke with loud tones. i watched him curiously the entire time. he asked me about magic, and i thought for a second before responding. shed without reason "magic? how do i make it?" i asked sincerely, looking at my own body beginning with my paws. jaded lenses then glided back up toward the lamb, wondering what he meant by lions. was i a lion? i also wondered how he conjured his magic. i huffed slightly as i then observed my own forelimbs. seeing nothing of the sort, i shrugged it off as i observed the poofy creature again."do you have more magic?" i asked in curious jubilation, truly excited for further displays."spoken words" @all welcome

RE: Evolution - Wynry - Jul 29 2015 Wynry listened to Niru's answers and could only smile as he thought of the best way to address the questions. The cold water bit at his nose and he leaned back and shook it off, snorting out a giggle. He had a good feeling about this Niru, too. He seemed bright, but curious and cautious. Almost... Gentle. Perhaps the sheep had grown too attached to these predator felines that could easily scoop out his guts with a swipe of their claws, but it hadn't failed him to be friendly so far. @Niru ! RE: Evolution - Niru - Aug 02 2015 weeping shades of indigo
i listened as he spoke, nodding every once in a while. the creature surely was sweet to me, surely was someone i could come back to. but he was right, i needed and wanted to explore. so i stood now, tufted tassel gave a small and steady swish. i grinned at the crazy critter, who's generosity and kindness would not be forgotten. shed without reason "wow! thanks a lot wynry. i'll come visit soon, i promise." perhaps i wasn't so great at expressing my gratitude, but maybe, just maybe, i could display it physically. i was careful to cross the water, now closing the gap between wynry and myself. i reached up to attempt to snuggle the floof ball, before i slithered past him to carry on my way, figure out my legs, figure out my life. i gave one glance over the shoulder before offering my departure call, a small and guttural 'mreoowww' before continuing on my way."spoken words" @Wynry

RE: Evolution - Wynry - Aug 03 2015
Wynry was so happy to have a new friend. He was even happier when the little lion came over to him and gave him a gentle nuzzle as he moved on. Wynry would not forget the lions who had touched his life. They were kind and gentle, full of heart. One such as he should have known better instinctively-- all those stories about the lion and the lamb...-- but he didn't, and as such he only felt the blissful joy of ignorance. He would miss Niru. wynry exit <3 |
