[FF Set-up] Gone Fishing (for the Billionth Time) - Kaimana - Nov 01 2020

This was an opportunity Kaimana simply could not miss. I mean, seriously! Look at all of this grandeur! It was going to be big, and spooky, and fabulous! She had to join in. It was the perfect stage! It had certainly taken an effort to move all these stone to the spot she had chosen for her stand. She had opted not to take the bigger stones -- far too much work to carry. And now that everything from home was transported to where it should be, there was one last piece missing: fresh flippin' fish!!! No Kaimana-made shop would ever be complete without them.

Thus it began, her fishing in this river. It was much different than fishing in the lake of Fornax. To be honest, due to past (Questing) experiences, she had grown... a little fearful of it. But no matter! If it had acted up again like it had in the past, she probably would have gotten word, right? And if not, then... she would just get out of the water. She was experienced enough with maneuvering in it.

Alright. Time to fish.

Text. "Speech." Thoughts.

((Hello! If you want to join this thread, that's ok, but I warn you that I do NOT want it to move slowly at all whatsoever. In fact, I would consider it an unofficial Solo, hehe.))

RE: [FF Set-up] Gone Fishing (for the Billionth Time) - Leviathan - Nov 01 2020

Of course, Kaimana did not go anywhere without her mini-me, and today was no different. He'd been unwilling to leave her alone, even if he didn't particularly want to go anywhere either. Still, the opportunity to stretch his wings -- which worked now, by the way, although he was still gaining confidence in doing much more than swimming and walking on them -- had been a pleasant one and he'd slunk after her eagerly. Although, 'mini' was a bit of a misnomer -- he was already as tall as she was at the shoulder, with quite a bit more height added due to his horns and ability to stand upright. It also didn't help that he was neon red, but one way or another, he was here to guard her booth.

"Don't fall," he said, voice unusually soft as he settled down at the bank of the river with his paws tucked under him in such a way that he could stand up quickly. His wings were pulled tightly against him, and his head was slightly raised with his mouth somewhat ajar. Keeping watch -- over Kaimana, with his eyes, and over the comings and goings of other Gembound with his sense of smell. He was content to let her do her work, though. Leviathan much preferred to sit pretty when she was doing business deals.

RE: [FF Set-up] Gone Fishing (for the Billionth Time) - Game Master Dark - Nov 02 2020

There was nothing, not this time.

That being said, there was nothing.

No fish whatsoever graced the Crystal River's waters. The current was empty, clear and cold, and there was nothing here to see.

How strange.
