Alright, let's try this 2: electric boogaloo [GORE WARNING] - Arwen - Dec 20 2020

Arwen set the skin down and inspected it. The front legs were probably thick enough that she could fit her arms into it, and if she was smart, she could cut off the hind legs, maybe making a belt. She could make a hooded tunic rather than a cloak.

It would be warm and hide her insectoid features, and then she could easily glamour her lower half into a tunnel runner. It was perfect!

"I swear I'm a genius sometimes," she said, and got to work.

She managed to cut through the skin after a lot of struggling, and though the cut itself was ragged and kind of terrible, the long fur covered her shoddy work. She wiped her brow and lifted up the skin, carefully putting it on to test it. It looked pretty good, actually. Fluffy and beautiful, and when she pulled the head over her own, it was the perfect hood. Thank goodness she was so stupidly thin, for the legs, when cut into strips, acted as a fantastic belt.

"With the gem antlers," she mumbled, "I'll surely look like a queen. And this time, that stupid guardian won't try and kill me."

It wasn't the best work ever, but with the fluffy fur, it hid most of the flaws. She'd chosen pretty well.

Arwen pulled it off and hung it up to dry, so she could clean it and rub it down with the wax from her honey combs to keep it from getting stiff and gross. It was nice being a bee, she was so useful.

After an hour or so she took it down, feeling along the skin side before rummaging through her combs for wax. She rubbed it into the skin tediously, the oils being soaked up easily. She rubbed and rubbed until the skin wouldn't take anymore, and then she hung it up again. As long as it didn't dry out and was protected by her wax, it would become waterproof and wouldn't start to decompose. Hopefully. That was her theory, anyway.

She could always make another one.
