call me curious - Aerie - Dec 29 2020 Aerie stood before the rift, alone, nothing but her wits about her. She cocked her head and peered at it, face emotionless, her yellow eyes glowing gently in the gloom. ”... I wish I could know whoever it is on the other side,” he mumbled, ”So I could know what they know. How to make the things that appear through here.” Oh what a world that would be, to be able to talk to the crafters of such ancient, beautiful things. She could only hope one was tossed so carelessly her way. Maybe fabric, maybe something metal. She'd love something to wrap around herself, to make her even more glorious than she already was. Maybe even things to adorn her horns, like the strips of leather (from catsquirrels) she currently had tied around them. She sighed and curled up, waiting. RE: call me curious - Game Master CJ - Dec 29 2020 The portal heard no words; it simply was, ever-swirling with mystery and the emptiness of the unknown.
RE: call me curious - Aerie - Dec 29 2020 Aerie sat there for a while, waiting. And waiting. She worked her jaw as she began to pace, staring at the portal, waiting her turn to get something cool like the banner and helmet that had fallen out initially. ”Come on!”, she roared at it, ”Stupid... THING! WORK!!” She threw a rock at it and watched nothing happen. She couldn't even take out her anger on it. What a useless thing. What, did it only spit out two stupid objects and that was it? ”Useless,” she hissed, ears pinned. If there was one thing that ticked her off, it was magic. It was just unreliable. She slapped her tail down and left, more than a little pissed off. |
