CETUS IS FOR LOSERS - Pelt - Dec 30 2020

HA. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

SHE'D DONE IT. SHE WAS OUT OF THERE. NO MORE MUD.

The water here was cool and fresh, a billion trillion googol to the googolth power times cleaner than Cetus. And Pelt loved it. She was in a good mood despite her injured flipper-- and anyway the coolness of the water helped numb it, so it wasn't as bad. It was already starting to heal.

She was rather salty about the Redfang she'd killed, though. It had been huge compared to all the other fish of these caves, and she'd gotten through only a fraction of it before she'd become full. She'd had to leave the rest in Cetus, where it would presumably rot into black goop and she wouldn't be able to profit off of it any more than she already had. Still worth it, though. She'd choose Pisces over Cetus any day.

Perhaps she should go after easier prey in the future. One meal, no matter how large it was, was hardly worth getting herself seriously hurt for. But the sense of accomplishment when she'd finally brought the thing down... nothing could have compared. Absent-mindedly, she reached for the banana spell. She was in a sparkly mood. Might as well match the sparkles on the outside, too.

Then a huge thing appeared from above and dropped onto her face with a wet thwack, before she had time to react or even see what it was.

"WHO DAR-" Pelt began to roar, snapping blindly in the general direction the thing had come from, before the mysterious attacker slid off her head and flopped limply into the water. It was a giant empty banana peel, still glittering faintly. She glared at it, her face heating with embarrassment. FINE! Be like that, then. This was why she didn't use magic.

RE: CETUS IS FOR LOSERS - Ahmon-Ra - Jan 02 2021

Life thus far had been unlawfully boring. Where was His godly powers? His glamour? His fans? No. He hadn't found worshipers. It was like they were hiding. How dare the beings avoid Him?! Their fear of Him was justified, of course, but He'd only just recently grown to His full adult size, not that the eyeless god knew. He wandered alone for cycles, surviving. He wanted to be thriving. It wasn't hard to hunt lessers. Nor find water. Nor shelter. But it became damn monotonous. Ahmon was destined for glory. He would live no simple life. He would procure a name for Himself.

The blind draconid cast out the spell He used to sense the heartbeats of food. He, indeed, heard the faint and familiar drum beating for Him. This one was stronger. Larger. He grinned. Not a lesser. Not simple encounter.

Sloppily He crawled (He still wasn't shown how to fly... this whole time... NOT THAT HE NEEDED TO BE SHOWN >> He just didn't feel like it... yeah.) on the mossy, moist floor towards the sound. It rumbled forth in surprise. Ahmon assumed it was for Him (why would it not be?); 'WHO DAR--' It was cut short. He did not cease His approach. "'Sup B?" His voice had deepened since He last heard it. This one would love it.

Hell. If only Ahmon could re-meet Himself.
