Quest Updates
If you've been following the quests, you will be happy to know that both quests have now advanced to the next part after a short period of stagnancy. We are more than eager to get these quests going, so if you want to participate, we encourage you guys to post your characters and take part! Who knows what could happen? If you're interested, consider joining Quest: The Beast's Best Friend or Quest: The Fiery Pit.User Tagging & User Linking
We have introduced a user tagging feature that will PM users when they have been tagged in a post. You can tag a user simply by adding @Username to your post. Likewise, you can easily link to a character's account using this code: [*character=Username] without the *. This will produce a link to the character account and will not tag them.Exciting New Features Coming Soon To Home Video!
Magicka Levels: The votes are in! You guys have decided on the magicka bars, so that's what we're going to do. The current plan is that we'll implement a magicka bar per thread, so that it won't limit magicka use globally, only in one thread. Magicka will replenish itself every day, however once you reach 0, you will no longer be able to cast spells in that thread at all. More details and an in-depth explanation will be provided when the feature is implemented, but have no fear! We're still accepting suggestions on the idea as we work on it. Likewise, there will be a 1 month wait period before advancing from Pupil to Master that will be implemented alongside this feature.
Word of the Day: In order to encourage more posting, we are going to implement a special Word of the Day feature that will award extra magicka every time somebody uses the word of the day in a post. We will hopefully be able to synchronize word of the day with wordsmith.org such that the word of the day there will be the word of the day here. This will give us a constantly changing list of words that doesn't repeat. The intended features will include automatically awarding magicka if the word is detected one or more times in your post, as well as automatically underlining the word and tagging it as "Word of the Day".
Level Paths: We will be introducing new paths based on character specialties. Like magic levels, you will be able to advance in levels with regards to physical combat and "other" attempt rolls. However, characters will only be able to pursue one path: magic, physical combat, or other; the path you choose will be the roll type that you have higher success in. These levels will still fall under "Magic Level" even if you choose physical combat or other. Right now, the paths are as follows:
Physical Combat: Fledgling -> Brawler -> Champion
Other: Fledgling -> Strategist -> Genius
If you have already advanced in magic levels and want to pursue a different path, you will be given the option to reset your character's magic level when this feature is introduced.

The NPC list has been updated, and some NPC's have been given artwork. Artwork for the remaining NPC's is still to come! Remember, each individual NPC listed on the NPC List counts towards the NPC achievements.New Quotes

One Final Act as King
Maji Walezi seems to have descended into chaos with the return of Leon and the fight between he and Maji Walezi's leader, Cancer. As a result, Cancer is put on trial for his attempted murder of the bear, but Cancer complicates things by in turn accusing Leon of attempted murder as well. It seems that neither of them are going to escape this trial unpunished, but how far is the trial's judge, Bevy, willing to go?

The Stolen Collar Part 2
The creatures of Cetus are hard at work searching for Aquarian's stolen treasure. They have combed over Cetus, checked every nook and cranny for a sign of the golden collar, to no avail. Now, the alligator, crow, lion, and komodo dragon are on their way through the tunnels, following a faint scent. Will they be able to find the collar, or will Aquarian be forced to wail and complain for the rest of eternity?

GOLEM RAID
Usui has accumulated a group of curious Gembounds in Polaris. They seem to be spying on the abundance of golems in the dam and planning on launching an attack of some kind. Whatever comes of this raid, let's hope the Gembounds come out on top, because there are a lot of golems... and someone with a magically imbued stone won't last long on their own.
