Is this place like Polaris - Comet - Jan 14 2021
Comet had been just laying down in the grass, enjoying the feeling of existing, when something popped into her head. Was this place like Polaris? Did it have stones too? This cave was starting to get more populated, and it wouldn't do if there were any stones here that got trampled! It was hard to see anything in this tall grass. And with that, she had bestowed upon herself a mission.
Casting the same spell she did so long ago, she felt something magical nearby. She walked around to try and pinpoint it, sticking her nose into everything in the area. RE: Is this place like Polaris - Game Master Bunny - Jan 14 2021 Pegasus was rife with magic, same as Polaris—just, ah... to a lesser degree. Comet's senses lit up with it, though her attention would be drawn towards a honey-colored cluster of anglesite points sitting in the grass. It was no larger than her own paw. Pupil-level magic resided within it.

Comet had noticed that there wasn't as much of a feeling of magic here compared to Polaris, but there certainly WAS magic. In this area, she guessed there would only be a few more stones to save. Once she was done rescuing some she could put them into her house and keep them nice and safe. Perhaps give some of them too to gembounds who she knew could take good care of them or even give them life again.
The beautiful honey colored cluster was tucked safely away into the side of her mouth, as she continued searching. There was a tug of magic again, and another stone was found. RE: Is this place like Polaris - Comet - Jan 15 2021
That was two in only this place, which meant it should be pretty cleared by now. If it were Polaris, she would have continued, but since it wasn't she knew there couldn't be that much more for her to find. Now with two stones tucked into her mouth, Comet continued scouting around for more.
Nothing could be felt, probably because there weren't any more in this area? No, she was sure there was, it must be a failure of the spell. She knew when she had cast it earlier there had to be more. RE: Is this place like Polaris - Comet - Jan 15 2021
Trying again, Comet tried putting more energy into it in an attempt to make it work one last time. It just had to! There was a strong pull, and she followed it into a tuft of grass. A sneeze, nothing. Then it was followed to a rock, which didn't seem to be where it was from either. Continuing to walk, it finally ended at a cluster of flowers. She poked her nose straight in.
RE: Is this place like Polaris - Game Master Bunny - Jan 15 2021 The next stone nearly blended into the grasses—it was a mossy green color, with a sage base. Upon closer inspection, it quite resembled a sea turtle's shell... not that Comet would be aware of what one of those was. It was a cabochon of chlorastrolite, harboring Pupil-level magic within.
... and, nestled amid the flowers, was a curved blue iolite. From broad to narrow end, it was about six inches long. It was rough as far as polish went, but the edge of it was sharp enough to cut unsuspecting lips on. Pupil-level magic resonated from within it. @Comet RE: Is this place like Polaris - Comet - Jan 15 2021
Comet felt that there were no more stones to be found in this area. Great! The ones that she had rescued would be safe in her den. Her mouth full to the brink with the turtle shell that she didn't know was a turtle shell nearly causing everything to overflow, she hurried back home as fast as she could to store them away safely, her lip bleeding a bit from the iolite.
