I'm watching you - Comet - Jan 22 2021
Comet was very happy with her choice of giving Dread the raspite. It was one of the larger stones that took up a lot of space in her storage. But one stone given meant another stone to save. She returned, to Eridanus. Not only that, but the very place where she had hatched. The Eyes. Comet had fond memories of this forest, and it seemed so many things had happened and she had been caught up in a whirlwind of things.
But now, she was here. To see if there was a stone here who could be stored and given life again one day. RE: I'm watching you - Game Master Bunny - Jan 24 2021 As water lapped in and out of the shallows, a spot of blue gleamed; it shone even brighter in Comet's senses, cast out across Eridanus. The object stood stark against the ambient buzz of latent magic—it was certainly something living.
If the canine made her way closer, the speck would grow more and more definite: a polished round of blue kyanite. It was settled among the shore's pebbles, rolling gently with the timid waves. Despite the constant movement, spots of algae had had the chance to permeate its surface and cling to it. Were Comet to reach down to grasp it, she might find that the Eyes were no longer icy cold. If anything, the water and the stone were both lukewarm. This stone is a guaranteed revival and will not break upon attempt. The resulting hybrid will be drawn by myself.

Comet's senses quickly detected the stone, and she felt that it was much stronger than any other stone she had found before. She saw the gleaming spot of blue and walked closer. It was out of place among the drab pebbles along the shore, and she reached down to rescue it from the waves. The water was... warm? At least, it wasn't icy cold at all like it usually is. That was strange, very strange indeed.
This was a special stone, she would take very good care of this one. Comet went on her way home to deposit the stone into her storage, the safest place she could keep it. "Exit Comet" |
