Bursting through her chamber doors Erin slumped against the other side, tipping her head back and banging it lightly against the wood. Tonight was the night. They'd already pushed it off twice, once more and Eleanor would tell them not to bother -- a seductive proposal, but she knew that her aunt would never let them live the refusal down. No, it was better to get this over with. Perhaps the dinner would go well, maybe they could be a family again. Erin smiled, catching herself in her own delusion.

A sound from the adjoining room pulled her out of her head and back to the task at hand. Assuming it was either her cousin or her maid, Erin made her way over to investigate. The sight that unraveled itself before her made her freeze. Erin gawked shamelessly, she simply couldn't help herself. "You look stunning." Dressed in one of her very own gowns, Ambrielle twirled around the room, the silken cloth clinging to her body.
