And just a little bitty time ago two of the Bonebound's members had to go off to fight in one. Giggle, the motherly hyena that told her fortune, and Nemo, the bird that looked like Ozzie. Hey, it's true!

Aviva didn't know how to react. Just moping around, poking some bones with her scythes, and waiting for some news-- anything-- from the faraway legion. Were they doing awesome? She bet they were doing awesome! Incredible, in fact! Not a single instance of infighting among their loyal and true ranks! The gryphon sure hoped they returned safe and victorious soon, because the environment in Canis became tense at their absense. Avi didn't like tenseness.

Eventually, boredom overtook her and the alien flopped onto her back with a dramatic sigh. How could doing nothing be this mind-numbing? She'd been doing nothing for four cycles without a problem!

The Bone duchess's head lolled over, to where she could see Giggle's bone casting place... thing. Aha! What if... she made her own bone pit! Avi liked bones, didn't she?

With a renewed pep in her step, Avi popped up and started rolling together fossils for her little project. Er, would've, if she wasn't lolling about and flopping goofily every time she exerted a little bit of effort.
